Comeback

It was a comeback stage for my new solo song. I was nervous since this wasn't a Korean song it was full-blown English. I wasn't going to do some fancy dance routine I wanted it to be simple but of course, I would move around a bit on stage to make it much more lively with a quick outfit change.

I was in the dressing room putting on my hot pink lawyer suit from the music video which was my favorite outfit of all time. My song came out about three hours ago and so far there have been good reviews and then, of course, bad ones. 

"Why an English song I thought you were Korean." 

"If she wanted to do an English song she should've gone to America and sign with a label there." 

And so on but I didn't let it bother me really I was just excited to do the comeback stage. My stylist was starting to my hair as I go over the cues in my head over and over again. "Lip you are gonna do fine don't worry." My stylist says to me and rubs my shoulder.

As she was starting to move onto my makeup the boys came into the dressing room and made themselves comfortable on the couch and chairs. Once she was done I got out of the chair and put my red bottoms on, then went to the boys to bother them a bit.

"We got our lucky red rings on for you, and you are gonna kill it out there," Jin says to me as he puts my red ring on my finger. "I know but it's an english song, not a traditional Korean song," I say to him.

"Many korean artists have english tracks and kill them." He reassures me, "You got this in the bag so now go finish getting ready and get to your spot." He adds after and I turn around and leave the room. 

I get my pack and earpiece set up and went onto the stage and waved at the fans and did a quick thank you for coming and supporting this solo album that I made. The music starts and with the humming and the dancers turn my chair around right on the beat.

"Remeber when you said that there's no second chance?

Oh, baby, I heard you been hoping you could change the past

You miss the longer nights, you miss the long goodbyes, you miss the longer nights"

I get up from the chair and walk forward a bit, "Well did you ever think that it was hard for me? Do I get off like nothing happened, nonchalantly? I got the feeling like you the feeling right, I got you feeling like"

I continue to move around and squatted down as I sang the pre-chorus and then the dancers came around me as I took the rob off and one of them took it off and I walked out.

"So sue me for looking too pretty tonight 

Wearing your favorite color under the light

For moving on doing everything right."

I sang out loud into the mic and I could hear the crowd screaming once I came out. I continue on with singing and a little bit of dancing along. I did my little body roll as I went to hit my high note as the backup singers sang the song on and then I joined in with them. 

Once I finished I was laying on my side looking at the crowd and gave a small wink towards the camera. 

I got up from the floor and bowed to the crowd once more and headed back into the dressing room to see the boys. Once I entered their faces just said it all, they were proud of me.
