Collab

The sun was barely rising on a cold December morning. Everyone should be asleep still or just waking up to start their day for work. Most people when they have a vacation would usually relax and focus on one's self. But one person is up in a studio sitting on a stool with black headphones on with a stand that holds some music sheets up and a microphone in front of her. "Can you warm up your vocals a bit more? Sing some of the lines." The producers say on the speakerphone on the other side of the window. Lip gives him a thumbs up and gets closer to the mic and started to sing. "Said, "Who's gonna do it like me? Said, "Who's gonna love you like me?" " She says into the mic and the producers give her a thumbs up. He presses the button and says, "Yeah just like that in that sorta low octave." He says and releases the button. "I didn't know I could sing that low not gonna lie." She laughs into the mic. "Brian said he's gonna be here soon to hear what it sounds like so far and to discuss music video a bit more." The producer says to her. When she heard that Rich Brian wanted to do a collab with her she instantly took the opportunity and said goodbye to her vacation and took on this project. Plus she loves 88 rising a lot so that was another reason why she took it up. She was just happy that there was no dancing involved from what they discussed so far.

"Oh my god, can I do a vlog about this to show ARMY what I have been doing during our vacation time?" Lip says as she gets up off of the stool. "Yeah sure go ahead. They'll probably be happy but also upset that you're not resting." the producer says to her. "Yeah but it would be fun to show them." she says as she takes off the headphones and leaves the small recording area and into the small lounge area and grabs the small camera from her bag that the company has given her since she's the only one that remembers to do them in the group. She turns the camera on and flips the small viewfinder on her and started to record. "Helloooooo Kimberly is here! I know that I'm supposed to be on vacation but I am doing a small project with 88rising artist Rich Brian and I think you guys will like it." She says to the camera before flipping the viewfinder around to the back and moves the camera to her face. "I am currently recording the song with the producers and waiting for Brian and a bunch of other people that are involved with the song." She says as she shows the producers and the soundboard.

She goes back into the small sound booth and sets the camera on a small table in the room and faces it towards her. She pushes the stool a bit back and puts the headphones back on. "Can we start where 'I see it' and continue on and I wanna try in the same octave I did for when I enter into the song, I wanna keep the tone that I enter with and not suddenly go back to the normal tone I sing in?" Lip says into the mic. "Go for it let's hear how it sounds." the producer says to her and started the track. The backtrack started to play and lead up where she wanted to sing,

The track stopped once she was done singing up to before she and Brain would sing together. "That sounds good, let's just wait and see what Brian and the others think," he says and lippie pulls the stool back and sits on it. She looks over at the camera and waves at it as she pulls her phone out from her pocket. She checks her messages and emails that are starting to come in for the day. It was now eight in the morning and people are most definitely getting going with their day at this point. She looks at her muted group chat she has with the boys to see that they realized she was missing from her bed at seven a.m. to half an hour later they remembered her project and stopped texting.
