colby continued to sit by sams door on the fifth day.
all the roommates were worried about both the boys.
they could see the amount of weight colby had lost from not eating and they could only imagine what sam looked like.
sam nor colby had changed there clothes.
colby sat in gray sweatpants and no shirt.
sam sat in black gym shorts and a never normal hoodie.
the difference between both boys was that colby had slept and sam had not.
colby slept on the colby floor, while sam tried his best to fall asleep but couldn't no matter how tired he was.
sam was unaware of colbys eating habits.
he thought colby was continuing to live his life while only checking up every once and a while.
little did he know.
jake came and sat next to colby.
"we're worried." he said referring to him and the roommates.
"i'm worried about sam." colby said.
the blonde listened in on the conversation.
"colby it's been five days. you haven't eaten or drank in four."
that caught sams attention. colby couldn't starve himself.
he needed to eat. sam could starve himself if he wanted but for the blonde, colby was a different story.
"please eat colby." jake begged.
"not until i see sam. that's the only way." colby said knowing he would keep his word.
sam knew that know he had no choice.
he struggled to find the strength to get out of his bed.
colby remained by the door and jake had walked away.
sams legs were slowly giving out as he walked to his door.
colby heard the door unlock and he stood up faster then he ever has.
sam opened his door just a bit.
just enough so colby could see him.
both there hearts were broken.
they looked at each other and both saw a skinnier, paler version of the boy they saw last. both there eyes were blood shot.
sam opened his door the rest of the way.
colby had grabbed on to sam tightly clutching the hoodie on sams back.
sam was too weak to do anything but wrap his arms around the brunette.
they held in to each other for a moment until colby let go.
"you want to go eat?" colby asked.
the thought of food made sam want to gag but he knew he needed it, and colby needed it too so he agreed.
this made colby happy.
he knew sam needed the food.
the only problem was the boys were weak. they went days without food and it was difficult for them to walk.
so they had to put there weight on each other and slowly make there way down stairs and into the kitchen.
they both got something to eat. sam forcefully ate ever bite and at the end he wanted to spit it all up.
colby was just glad to get a meal in him and glad to see his best friend finally finish a plate of food.
