sam and colby were driving. they weren't sure where they were going but sam just wanted to get out of the house.
he was in a good mood for once.
sam parked at a grocery store.
"what are we doing here?" colby asked.
"can we talk?"
"yeah sam of course. what is it."
sam started to bounce his leg up and down. even though corey said that colby loved him sam was still scared to ask.
"colby do you." he stoped talking and bit his cheek.
"do i what?" colby asked nervously.
"are you in love with me colby?" sams heart had stoped. he was scared for the reply.
"sam what makes you think that?" colby said. he didn't want to admit feelings. he wasn't ready.
"it's just that. i don't know. maybe-"
"i do." colby interrupted.
"fuck sam i don't know why but i do. i fell in love with you after all these years and i couldn't help it. i didn't want to fall in love with you and cry myself to sleep knowing that you didn't love me back sam i-"
this time sam had cut colby off saying, "who said i didn't love you back?"
"i did sammy. it's just a fantasy."
"no colbs. it's reality. i'm in love with you."
the words echoed through colbys ears .
"you're in love with me sam?" colbys voice was quiet and soft.
sam nodded.
colby found a tear sliding down his cheek.
"sam i've been waiting so long for this." colby said.
"i have too." sam said.
him and colby leaned it only inches away.
they both looked at each other's lips before closing there eyes and filling the space inbetween them.
sam and colby just felt right.
they pulled away from this kiss and realized that the thing they were so depressed over just vanished.
just like that it was gone.
"why'd you asked if i was in love with you?" colby asked.
"corey told me. don't be mad at him it was the best secret he's ever told." sam admitted.
time skip
sam and colby walked into the house.
"we're did y'all go?" corey asked from the living room.
"just out." colby said walking into the living room as sam went upstairs.
colby sat on the couch.
"hey corey thanks for telling sam what i told you and jake the other day." colby said quietly.
"i only told sam because he slipped up and told me that he was in love with you colby."
"corey you don't think it's weird right? that me and sam love each other?"
"honestly colby i always thought the solby shit had some truth to them. i'm not surprised." corey smiled.
"i don't know if that's supposed to make me feel better or not." colby chuckled.
"it's a good thing." corey said.
it was silent for a few moments before corey spoke again, "so are you guys gonna date?"
"i don't know. hopefully corey. hopefully."
