I froze where I was standing and Melo was snickering at me as Kyle looked at me for an explanation.

"Um, Well I was going to tell you but he only asked me out yesterday so technically I couldn't even tell you yet and, ugh it's not even my fault-" He cuts me off.

"Whoa, slow down Maya. I was just wondering. It's okay I understand. You guys are good for each other. I respect it." Kyle looks at the both of us then back at Melo.

"Break her heart, I'll do a drive by on yo ass." Kyle smiles before getting a call and walking away. Melo puts his hands up in defense.

Phew, that went better than I expected.

Kinda weird.. right?

"So what are doing anyway?"

Lavar rounded us all up and brung us down to the beach without explaining anything.

It was our last day here in Maui and honestly, I was a little upset. Maui is an island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian archipelago. It was so beautiful here and I didn't want to leave. Every time I woke up, Maui gave me a pretty sunrise to see.

Maui would definitely be a trip to remember.

"Today we gone get on that boat over there, and go parasailing." Lavar had a big cheesy grin on.

"Oh nah, Imma stay on that boat then." Melo shook his head. He head been leaning me with his chin resting on my head.

"Wait what is parasailing?" I had never heard of a such thing. I genuinely confused. In Flint, my family and I would never to the beach. We had a pool in our backyard what was the point?

Jaden chimes in, "Oh dude parasailing is so freaking fun its like when the boat is attached to a specially designed canopy wing that resembles a parachute and you go in sky above the water. You'll love it."

"That's bout the whitest shit I ever heard." Melo retorts kissing his teeth.

"And you half white nigga?" Gelo cuts in, defending his girl.

"Shut up, Gelo that's why you look like a beef jerky." Melo argues.

"Says the string bean lookin ass bitch."

I started laughing, because I couldn't help self.

"Oh you want the smoke, shawty?" Melo looks down at me.

"Uh, yes?"

Before Melo could come for my ass, Lavar interrupts us.

"Alright the boat ready let's go guys."

Lonzo, Kuz, Zoey, and Tina were already on the boat.

I could hear the ocean water below and the seagulls above. It was very calming.

Very little people were on the beach, it was only 9:00 in the morning but the sun was still yet blazing down in us.

The camera crew followed behind us. I keep forgetting that the Ball's have a tv show. I didn't mind the cameras but I just hope they don't listen to everything..

Gelo and Jaden got on the boat before us because Melo was taking forever, dragging his feet across the sand.

I turned back around to grab his hand, "Come on, baby." The baby slipped out. He just groaned in response.

"Can we just go back to house and watch a movie? Just me and you." He tried to negotiate.

"No Melo we can do that when we get back home. This is our last day here. Weren't you the one who said we gotta make the most of it?" He obviously did not want to go parasailing.
