I clenched my hands tonight...
And my eyes saw a day-less sun.
Where the light was corrupted,
And the air was fixed.
...
I clenched my hands tonight,
And I talked to you.
The veins wanted to grasp your cloak,
And drag you into my world...
But the reach was like the east and west...
(I only grabbed what was choking me...)
...
I clenched my hands tonight,
And I prayed to rid of my folly...
I cried so hard,
That my heart gave birth to new blood...
That my chest felt like a closed community...
Not another human could deal the cards
That I created...
...
I clenched my hands tonight,
And saw my history.
Black and white pictures,
Flashed a light in my life...
It told me of the wrongs,
And reminded me of the constriction.
It questions my own mind...
(Are you worthy?)
(Can you love?)
(Can you live?)
(Can you breathe?)
...
I clenched my hands,
And forgave sin.
Because sin has always been a wing,
That took off with my lungs...
That's why its been hard for me to breathe...
So with this prayer,
I say good night to the wing,
And good morning to the feathers.
