Envy's Coat

As many will love a broken heart,

Many will scrutinize a whole one.

Something pure is despised

Especially in the eyes of lust.

The desire for want becomes overgrown,

And the grass is simply too tall to walk in.

The hand extends a better heart,

Than a hug that is of an iron maiden.

As the rain pours on faces

That were derived from hurricanes and tornadoes.

The water will drip another realm.

A sweet butterfly to hold.

While the mirror stares back,

Envy shall fasten its coat.

It will be painted in leather black

And the touch shall be smooth,

Yet cold.
