A/N So, I'm kind of back, but updates won't necessarily be every Saturday. They may be once a week or I might skip weeks. I want to be back, but I need to not be overwhelmed as well.

It had been a week since Jackson's death and Jungkook was no less worried about is employer than before. Would he let anyone know that? No, of course not, but it didn't make it any less true. He had decided to take a bit more time off of work after the incident. He wasn't ready to go back, needing time to process what happened. No one dared argue with him about it.

He had spent his days at home reading, working out to get his strength back, and most importantly, trying to get his mind off who hired Jackson. Of course, as soon as he would manage to get his mind off Jackson's employer, his mind would wander to Taehyung.

Ah yes, Taehyung, his partner he had managed to start catching feelings for. How could he let a rookie mistake like this happen? Well, Taehyung was just different. He was different than anyone Jungkook had met before.

He didn't know what about him was different then others, but there was just... something. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. However, he wasn't trying to figure it out. The two of them could never happen. There was no way it could without things getting messy.

Jungkook pushed it aside. It was just a crush, probably because he had been one of the first people Jungkook saw when he was in the hospital. It seemed like he cared. But, why wouldn't Taehyung care? They were work partners and friends, of course he cared.

Jungkook refused to let himself give into this little crush that was primarily based on something that was just a basic trait of friendship. He wouldn't let himself get hurt. The last person he had dated was Jackson, and everyone knew where that had ended up.

So, Jungkook sat on his couch, alone in his dreary apartment that he had grown to hate being in, with only a day until he was set to return to work. Although, really, that meant a day until he would see Taehyung and all of his suppressed startings of feelings would most likely resurface again.

He sighed and sat up, grabbing his phone that had been on the coffee table. He scrolled through his contacts until he found the one he was looking for: Jimin.

Yes, he and Jimin were friends, but Jungkook was a very closed off person. He rarely talked about anything personal with him, only if it was really eating at him. Well, his conflicting feelings about Taehyung were really eating at him. So, he hit the call button on Jimin's contact.

"Hello? Is everything okay?", Jimin asked worriedly," You never call, only text"

"I know. Things are... I don't know. Can you come over? I really need to talk to you", Jungkook sighed.

"Of course, I'll be there in ten minutes", Jimin said, already starting to get is keys.

"Thank you", Jungkook murmured before hanging up. What was he going to say to Jimin? He didn't even know how he truly felt, let alone how to explain how he felt to someone else. Within ten minutes, there was a knock on the door. Another thirty seconds and Jungkook and Jimin were sat on the couch.

"This must be important if you called me over here", Jimin observed.

"It is", Jungkook said slowly.

"Start talking then, I'm here to listen", Jimin smiled softly. Jungkook nodded and took a deep breath. He looked at Jimin.

"I think I'm starting to develop feelings for Taehyung", he said quickly. Jimin's eyes widened.

"Are you serious?", he asked.

"Yes, but please don't make a big deal about it", Jungkook sighed.

"But it is a big deal! You haven't dated anyone since Jackson, so if you like him, it is a big deal!", Jimin practically squealed," Are you gonna tell him?"

"What? No, I can't", Jungkook said.

"You can, you're just scared", Jimin teased.

"No, Jimin, I can't. If he doesn't feel the same or something would happen between us that wasn't good, it would ruin our friendship and partnership. I just can't risk that. I've grown pretty attached to him over the months he's worked here", Jungkook sighed before groaning and falling back against the couch," Why do things have to be so complicated?"

"Kook, do you want to date him?", Jimin asked, resting a hand comfortingly on Jungkook's knee. Jungkook let out a sound of frustration.

"I don't know what I want", he whined," That's another reason I can't do anything"

"Well damn, you've made quite a situation for yourself", Jimin giggled softly.

"I know", Jungkook sighed with a soft and humorous chuckle," Wow, I really can't ever just choose to do things the easy way"

"Apparently not", Jimin said, both of them starting to laugh. Eventually, the laughter died down and they went back to the serious aura of the conversation.

"What am I gonna do tomorrow? Everything I've pushed down will probably come back and I won't be able to function around him now that I know I like him somewhat. Ughhhh", Jungkook huffed.

"Hey, calm down. If you need a break from him, just come down to the morgue. I'll distract you. Or, just throw yourself in paperwork or a case, if you get one. You'll be fine. Just act how you always have with him", Jimin smiled softly.

"Do you think he likes me too? I mean, I was a dick to him when he first got here. Hell, I don't even know if he's gay or bi or whatever", Jungkook pouted softly," I'm just a closed off person, you know this. I don't think it's possible for him to"

"Koo, it's possible, but if for some reason he's crazy enough not to, then there's no problem. Your little crush will go away, and things will just go back to normal. Everything will work itself out if it's meant to be", Jimin said. Jungkook nodded.

"Thanks for the talk, Jimin. Do you wanna stay for movies? We haven't had a movie night in a while", Jungkook smiled softly.

"I'd love to", Jimin giggled before the two proceeded to make some popcorn, crawl under some blankets, turn on a movie, and have a good time, Jungkook's mind temporarily taken off everything that was stressing him out.

A/N So, this was really just a filler chapter, but I hope it's okay!
