A/N I'm back beetchesssssssssss

This was it. Jungkook was on the flight, the flight that would take him to meet his family. He had a mix of nervous and excited butterflies in his stomach, making him unable to stop moving in at least some way. The people next to him were probably annoyed with how much he was fidgeting.

He had so many questions swirling around in his head and a whole mess of different emotions. He honestly didn't know what to feel. He just hoped he was making the right decision by going to meet them. He hoped they were real, not fake.

Before Jungkook knew it, his plane had landed, and he had arrived in LA. Roe had informed him that he would be there to meet and pick him up. As Jungkook exited the plane and collected his luggage, his heart was practically beating out of his chest.

As he walked out of the airport, many people stood with signs, names of various people written on them, letting everyone know who they were waiting for. After a minute of looking, Jungkook saw a shorter man with black hair holding up a sign, his name written on it.

"Roe?", Jungkook asked as he approached the man. The man, who's face had previously been straight, curved up into a large smile.

"Are you Jungkook?", he asked.

"Yes, I am", Jungkook smiled softly in relief.

"I'm Roe", he chuckled, shaking Jungkook's hand," I'm so glad you were able to come"

"Me too", was all Jungkook could respond. He was still trying to process the fact that this was real, that he had family left. It was a lot.

"Well, let's get back to the house. My dad, Mike, sister, Fiona, and cousins, Mal and Jake are all waiting. Fiona is making a feast for dinner, although I told her she didn't need to make so much. She insisted", Roe smiled.

"That sounds great", Jungkook giggled softly as Roe led him to the car. They both got in and Roe began driving. Conversation happened, but was very limited, both of them not knowing much of what to say, and not wanting to get too detailed, that way, Jungkook didn't have to repeat himself to the rest of the family.

Before long, they had arrived at the small house. The house was nestled in the middle of a wooded area, very private, and very hidden. Jungkook, excited to meet his family, thought nothing of it.

Roe and Jungkook walked into the house where they were greeted with the smell of home cooked food. The two removed their coats and sat down in the kitchen where everyone was, Mike, Fiona, Mal, and Jake all introducing themselves.

After a few more minutes, dinner was served. Everyone sat down at the table and began eating and chatting. Jungkook, though nervous, decided to make some small talk.

"The house is beautiful, Fiona", he smiled, having been informed in introductions that Fiona did own the property.

"Thank you, Jungkook, I've tried to make it homey for as long as we'll be here", Fiona smiled, brushing her long red hair behind her ear.

"Oh? Do you guys move around a lot?", Jungkook asked with a tilt of his head.

"Yes, for... well, I suppose you could say for work, to keep the business running", Fiona said slowly, being elbowed by Mal, a younger girl with short black hair.

"Don't be a dumb bitch, Fiona", she snapped, surprising Jungkook a bit," He's a cop"

"Sorry", Fiona murmured as she looked down.

"Why does it matter I'm a cop? What kind of business are you running?", Jungkook asked cautiously. The whole family shared a few looks before Mike spoke up.
