Chapter 5: Undercover A

A/N This chapter isn't very good, in my opinion, and is just a filler with some important character developments

Jungkook walked into the precinct that morning with a smile on his face. He walked over to Taehyung's desk and sat down on part of it, making the younger look up with a questioning gaze.

"Kim, get ready, you're about to have your first undercover case", he smiled. He had been excited to deliver to news to Taehyung and see his, hopefully, excited reaction.

"What?", Taehyung asked, paying full attention now.

"We are going undercover at Kansaga Middle School. There have been shooting threats and the team that deals with those have traced it down to sometime this week", Jungkook explained.

"So, how long is this for?", Taehyung asked with a smile.

"From eight this morning until we solve this case, you're a teacher's assistant", Jungkook chuckled, handing him a tie.

"What's this for?", Taehyung asked in confusion.

"Suit up", Jungkook said as he walked away to go start the car. Seokjin joined Taehyung's side at that moment.

"Did he just reference How I Met Your Mother?", he asked.

"Yes, Yes, he did", Taehyung said. Seokjin nodded.

"You heard him, suit up", he said as he walked away too.

"What?", Taehyung asked. He looked around the practically empty precinct," Were you guys serious?"

Taehyung and Jungkook walked into a Kansaga Middle School classroom, the teacher showing them in All of the students eyes were on them, making Taehyung a bit nervous, since he wasn't used to so many people looking at him at once, though he began to adjust quickly.

"Now, this Mr. Jeon", the teacher smiled, pointing at Jungkook. She then pointed to Taehyung," and that is Mr. Kim. They will be our assistant teachers for a while"

"Why?", one of the students asked out loud.

"Yeah, they don't look young enough to be high schoolers", the other said, knowing that normally only high schoolers came to be assistant teachers.

"What happened to raising your hand?", the teacher asked, her hands on her hips.

"It's ok. We are in our last year of college and want to learn firsthand about being a teacher", Jungkook explained. The class all 'oh' ed, as if that made perfect sense, which, to them, it probably did.

"This is a pretty small class", Taehyung said to Jungkook.

"It's because it's the gifted class", Jungkook explained.

"Yes, all of our students have worked very hard to be here", the teacher smiled proudly.

"We get straight A's. I doubt you do", one student said, crossing her arms, looking directly at Taehyung, who opened his mouth to shoot a response back, before getting nudged by Jungkook, signaling him not to.

"Karen watch it, or you'll be going to the office", the teacher said in a warning tone. Taehyung turned to her.

"What class is this", he asked.

"English", the teacher responded.

"It's time for lunch", someone said, pointing at the clock. The teacher waved her hands to dismiss them, all of the kids rushing out. The teacher sat down at her desk, Jungkook and Taehyung sitting in two seats in the front row.
