Bucky's point of view

When me, Sam and Natasha walked into the bathroom, we saw a terrible scene. The good part is that we found Steve.

The bad part is state we found Steve in. The Super soldier was kneeling next to the toilet in one of the stalls, holding onto the toilet seat so tight his knuckles became white. His head was bowed forward.

He was throwing up.

Now, if I would find Steve in that state before war, I wouldn't be so scared. I mean, I saw my little Stevie threw up, burn with fever, had delirious dreams, freezing, coughing, almost choking to death and bleeding so many times, that I was used to staying by his side until he felt better and helping him. It was no problem for me to take care of him: wrapping him into blankets, putting wet cloth on his forehead, making him tea, reading to him and running around city to get him some medicine.

But now he was a Super soldier. He wasn't supposed to get sick. I assumed other two knew this too, considering how suprised and shocked they looked. And also, seing somebody choking and throwing their guts up isn't a nice sight, thrust me.

I kneeled down next to him. ˝Stevie?˝ I started rubbing his back in circles. He kept on throwing up, his body shaking violently. After some minutes he stoped. He leaned back so he was resting in my arms.

˝I don't feel so good, Buck˝. He mumbled, barely audiable.

I chuckled. ˝Stevie, you just threw up. I don't see how you could be fine˝.

Sam and Nat were still staring at us. Steve noticed them and blushed dark red.

˝I am so sorry to run away from meeting. I will go and apologise to Fury,˝ he said weakly, while standing up. He tried to walk, but almost fell. I caught him in last second. Nat looked at us, than spoke up.

˝No, Steve, you are not going anywhere. James, Sam, get him to bed. I will go and explain this to Fury˝.

Steve shook his head. ˝There's no need for that Natasha. I am fine, okay? I don't need rest or anything. Also, I promised Tony I will help. I won't dissapoint him again.˝ He tried to escape, but I was holding him back.

˝Steve, you can't even walk properly. I am sure everybody will understand that you need some time. You will feel better soon and then you can help the team, right?˝ Sam tried to reason with him.

Steve finally gave in. ˝Fine.˝

Nat shoved us a thumbs up. ˝Okay, I am going to tell Fury. You go and rest. And if I see you walking around while you are in this condition, I will kick your ass. Understood?˝

˝Yes, ma'am,˝ Steve smiled weakly.
