I never thought in my life I would be where I am right now.
I had a good amount of girls death stear me as I walked through the town, word must have got out a little.
I get to the edge of the mountain door, I take a deep breath and walk in, instantly seeing a maiden "Um, Excuse me? I was told to just ask one of the maidens for Thorin Oakenshield" I explain, Her face lights up "You must be the young lady the price couldn't stop talking about" she says happily "he couldn't stop talking about me?" I ask myself "Um, I guess" I say shyly "Don't worry your pretty little head, I will get him for you just wait here" She says before walking off "Okay" I say happily.
It has been a good 3 minutes "He really couldn't stop talking about me? I am no one special" I say to myself outloud "Miss, I have him" The maiden says from down the hall, I turn around to see him walking behind her looking shocked.
He stops in front of me "You look amazing" He says, Heat rushes to my face "I will leave you to be" She says before walking away "Shall we?" He asks holding his arm out "We shall" I say shyly wrapping my arm around his.

We have been walking for about 15 minutes "If you don't mind me asking but where are we going?" I ask looking around me, all I see is trees "You will see, don't worry we are close now" He says smirking.

We get to a beautiful lake with a small waterfall, I stand there amazed "Take a seat" I hear Thorin say, I look over to my left to see a picnic layed out.
I smile and sit down next to him "This is lovely, Thorin" I say as he pours a glass of wine for me "Not as lovely as you" He says smiling handing me the glass, I blush and take the wine.

We finshed our picnic and now just talking and enjoying each other's company.
He says something and it makes me laugh "Your laugh is so cute" He smirks, I blush yet again "If you don't mind me asking again but why me?" I ask looking up into his ocean blue eyes "You aren't like the rest, You don't try and get my attention when I walk pass. You don't say you are with me. You don't want to be with me because of the gold. You don't want to be with me because I am a prince or in the Durin line" He explains.
I was shocked "You like me because I am me. I can be myself around you, I love you Y/N" He says, I couldn't control my own body and I kissed him and to my surprise he kissed back "I love you to Thorin" I whisper before laying on his chest and falling asleep the the sound of him humming and stroking my head softly.
