You grabbed your acoustic guitar that your boyfriend Benn had given you for your birthday and changed into a baggy tee and some spandex so you'd be comfy before picking the guitar up and practicing what Benn had been teaching you. Benn had been on tour and he was supposed to be back really soon. He never told you the exact day because he knew how much you loved surprises. Then you began playing and singing along to all the songs you could think of. You became lost in the music as you usually do whenever you play. Your fingers found the chords as easily and you sang with out trouble. You let a small tear drip down your cheek as you sang I Will Follow You Into The Dark by Death Cab For Cutie. "God, I miss you, Benn." You whispered to no one. Suddenly you felt the bed dip and a pair of arms genty wrap around your waist. "I missed you too, Y/N." The person mumbled into your hair.
"Benn." You breathed, turning around in his arms to face him.
"Hey beautiful." He smiled. You grinned back and wrapped your arms aorund his neck, crawling into his lap and kissing him lovingly. He cupped your face with his hands and smiled against your lips. "Your singing is amazing, babe." He mumbled when the kiss broke. You blushed and buried your face in his neck. "Thanks." You giggled. He hugged you closer to him.
"I missed you so much." I whispered.
"I missed you too, Benn." You replied. He kissed you again. Suddenly his stomach rumbled loudly.
"Little hungry there, Suede?" You lauughed, and it was hit turn to blush. "Let's go make pasta." You crawled off of him and ran to the kitchen. Benn ran after you and caught you by your waist halfway down the stairs. He put of over his shoulder and carried you the rest of the way. "Benn put me down!" You laughed, hitting him lightly. He replied with a 'no' and kept walking. You sighed and went limp in his arms. You could feel the rumble of his laughter against your chest as he walked. "I love you." You said.
"I love you too." He replied putting you down and kissing you again.
