Cheryl's POV
I sat on the bench after cheer when Reggie came over to me. He looked as if something was wrong.
"Reg is everything okay?" I ask.
"I like Ronnie. I asked her out and she said no. Because of some band deal. She said it would of been a yes if you okay with it." Reggie says.
"Well the rule was Jacey's so I dont care. Be nice to her." I say.
"I will. Thanks Cheryl." He says.
I want them to be happy I just wish the one liked would want me too.
Jacey's POV
Cheryl had let Reggie date Veronica and Im just glad it not my friends. I was walking into school when I was pulled into the bathroom. Toni then put her back to the door and looked nervous.
"Toni are you okay?" I ask.
"I like Cheryl and I was wondering if you could see if she likes me too." Toni says.
"Toni I cant. We have a deal." I say.
"What deal?" She questions.
"We cant date each others friends." I say.
"Are you for real? You know I had a crush on her and now you make this deal. Ace, please let this happen?" She asks.
"Toni." I say.
"Ace." She says.
"If you want to ask her out I wont stop you." I say.
"Thank you." She says and hugs me.
She left the bathroom and a stall opened revealing Betty.
"Oh hey." I say.
"You let Toni date Cheryl if she wants. You made that rule because I like your brother and you let them be happy and not your brother." Betty says.
"Its complicated." I say.
"Why wont you let Jug and I date?" She asks.
"Because of your mom." I say.
"What?" She questions.
"Your mom writes about serpents as bad guys. She writes horrible things about my parents. I thought you might of been like her thats why I cant let you hurt my brother." I say.
"You really do care about your brother dont you, but Im not my mother. Serpents arent bad in my eyes." She says.
"Okay. If you want to be with Jug then I wont stop you." I say.
"You know you arent that bad as you act to be." She says.
"Dont tell anyone. Now go." I say.
"Thanks." She says.
She left and when I walked out she was talking to Jughead and they looked happy, Cheryl and Toni were talking and they looked happy, Veronica was with Reggie and they looked happy. I once felt that feeling of romance, but for me it will never happen again. What guy can love a girl whos like me?
