Chapter 17

Betty's POV

I saw Jacey at Archie's and I have been for the last couple of days. They seemed to be working and they looked ever so close together. I was with Jughead in my room working on the Blue and Gold when I saw them. I couldnt help it and told Jughead and I texted both Veronica and Cheryl about it. They came over with Reggie and Toni and here we all were just looking at them.

"Why are you all looking out the window?" My mom asks.

"No reason." I say.

"Okay. Well if anyone needs snacks they are right there." She says and leaves.

"This is a good thing right?" Veronica asks.

"If she dates him and maybe she might be nicer." Cheryl says.

"Cheryl might be right." Toni says.

"This is good that is because Archie can write and can helped her. She has been having horrible writers block. She threw the papers all over the trailer and Pop's." Jughead says.

"You know what Jug's right." I say.

"Ohh look away they see us." Reggie says.

We all ducked away and I closed the curtain. Well that was awkward, but are they doing?

Jacey's POV

Well they where watching probably wondering what was happening here. Archie and I had finally finished the song when we noticed them.

"Wow they are nosey." I say.

"They saw us together and started thinking god knows what. Maybe trying to make us date or something." Archie says.

"What? You and me? Yeah right." I say.

"Arent you sweet. Maybe they know about your writers block and want me here to help you anytime you need it." He says.

"Well you dont suck. I'll give you that, but I wont always need help." I say.

"Yeah I know. Hey why dont I sing it with you ladies?" He questions.

"Sure okay. If you want." I say.

Later that day we called them over to Archie's house and we showed them the song.

"This is wonderful." Betty says.

"You did good." Veronica says.

"You two write this together?" Cheryl asks.

"Yeah. Why was it bad and your all saying its good?" Archie asks.

"No. I think she is just surprised that Jacey actually wrote it with you. Ace isnt known for asking for help." Jughead says.

"I was in a slump and now Im not." I say.

"Okay well this song is wonderful." Toni say.

"Agreed. Now maybe we should go and leave you all too it." Reggie says.

The next day at school we were told to sing our new song and here we go to perform again.

Everyone liked it and there were even some people in tears. Im glad this made people ever so happy. Then I noticed Archie looking at me and smiled at me. What was this feeling in my stomach? I've never felt this way before and why does it only happen when Archie is around?
