Happy reading.....

Bela Sharma woke up at 6 a.m., feeling surprisingly refreshed despite the emotional turmoil of the previous night. As she stretched and glanced around the room, her eyes landed on the bedside table where a steaming cup of coffee awaited her. A smile spread across her face as she remembered mentioning to Mahir that she liked to start her day with bed coffee.

"How thoughtful," she murmured, feeling a warm glow of appreciation. She freshened up quickly, savoring the rich aroma of the coffee that filled the room. Wrapping her hands around the warm mug, she took a sip, the familiar taste comforting her. She decided to find Mahir and thank him for his kindness.

"Mahir?" she called softly, walking through the hallway.

Bela stepped outside onto the veranda, her eyes widening in surprise. Mahir had set up a small gym area, and there he was, shirtless and doing push-ups in just his trousers. His skin glistened with sweat, highlighting the definition of his muscles. His biceps bulged with each movement, and his back and chest displayed a chiseled perfection that seemed almost unreal.

She stood frozen for a moment, her eyes taking in the sight of his toned body and the rhythmic motion of his exercise. Her coffee cup remained untouched, forgotten in her hand.

Hearing her gasp, Mahir let out a chuckle and turned his head slightly. "Good morning, Bela," he greeted, his voice deep and cheerful.

Bela replied reluctantly, her eyes still fixed on him. "Morning," she mumbled, clearly distracted.

Mahir let out a throaty laugh. "Have you never seen a handsome man before?" he teased, continuing his push-ups.

Bela, regaining her composure, responded without hesitation, "I have, but only on television. This is the first time in real life."

Mahir was amused by her straightforwardness. He knew she was genuinely impressed, and it was endearing.

"Oh really?" he said, getting up from his push-ups and standing tall.

Bela's eyes widened even more as she saw his six-pack abs, perfectly sculpted and glistening with sweat. She blurted out loudly, "OMG, are those bricks real?"

Mahir couldn’t help but laugh at her choice of words. "Bricks?"

Bela walked towards him, her eyes wide with curiosity. He raised an eyebrow at her, a smirk playing on his lips.

"What?" he asked, his tone playful.

She blinked up at him and said earnestly, "I want to touch them. I want to know if they feel like muscles or bricks."

Mahir was taken aback by her honesty but found it incredibly charming.

She's not filter at all. Like so innocent!

"Go ahead," he said, stepping closer and standing still, his smirk widening.

Bela hesitantly reached out and placed her hand on his abs, her fingers tracing the hard, defined muscles.

"Wow," she whispered in awe.

"They're really muscles."

Mahir laughed softly, enjoying her reaction.
"Yes, they're real muscles, not bricks."

Bela looked up at him, her face still full of wonder.

"You're like one of those magazine models, perfect from every angle."

Mahir was both flattered and amused by her words.

"Well, thank you, Bela. I guess all those hours at the gym paid off."

Bela nodded, finally taking a sip of her coffee. "They definitely did."

Bela took a sip of her coffee, as the warmth of the drink spread through her, she suddenly realized what she had just done, boldly touching Mahir's abs and openly admiring his physique.

Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and she instinctively hid her face behind the cup, hoping to conceal her blushing cheeks.

Mahir, noticing her sudden shyness, chuckled softly.

"It's okay, Bela," he reassured her in a gentle tone.

"It's natural curiosity. We're friends, remember? There's no need to feel embarrassed."

Bela peeked over the rim of her coffee cup, her eyes still tinged with embarrassment but comforted by Mahir's understanding.

"I... I'm sorry," she stammered, her voice slightly muffled by the cup.

Mahir shook his head, a warm smile on his lips. "No need to apologize. I'm flattered, actually," he admitted, his tone light-hearted.

"Besides, I've been in the fitness game for a while. It's not everyday someone appreciates it as candidly as you did."

Bela couldn't help but smile back at him, grateful for his easygoing response. "Thank you, Mahir," she murmured, feeling her cheeks gradually return to their normal
color.

Yeah! You filmy crazy girl, he thought.

Mahir gestured towards the small outdoor gym setup. "So, what do you think? Not bad for a makeshift gym, right?"

Bela looked around, admiring the neat arrangement of weights and exercise mats. "It's impressive," she acknowledged, genuinely impressed by Mahir's dedication to fitness.

Mahir nodded proudly. "I try to keep in shape. Helps clear the mind, you know?"

Bela nodded in agreement. "Definitely. Especially after everything that happened yesterday, I can see why it's important."

They stood in comfortable silence for a moment, the morning sun bathing them in its gentle warmth. Bela felt a sense of ease and connection with Mahir, grateful for his presence and the unexpected friendship that was blossoming between them.

"I should probably finish my coffee," Bela said finally, lowering the cup from her face with a shy smile.

Mahir nodded. "Of course. Take your time. You have an interview right? I will make us some breakfast."

Bela's smile widened. "That sounds wonderful. Why you are so unbelievably perfect?"

"Well, nobody ever told me that. I am happy to hear ", he winked at her and left a blushing, shocking mess of Bela behind.

She had no idea what these simple words could do to a man's heart.

As they lingered on the veranda, the aroma of coffee mingling with the fresh morning air, Bela couldn't help but feel that maybe, just maybe, Mumbai was starting to feel more like home. And with Mahir by her side, she knew she was in good hands.  Despite the challenging start to her time in Mumbai, moments like these made her feel hopeful and grateful for the unexpected friendship they had formed.
