Roller Coaster Ride

"Jasmine, I need you to keep calm and to stop moving." He said as I focused on the look of him, his hair was pulled back into a bun, and he had a blue sanitation gown over his navy blue scrubs.

He looked almost as if he was ready for surgery.

Wait, what.

I grabbed his arm with my free hand, even though it had an IV in it, but at least it wasn't being held in my place.

"Where am I? What happened?" I said as soon as he put up the safety bars on the hospital bed.

"We're taking you on a roller coaster to CT to confirm your concussion." Dr. Styles explained as my bed began to roll.

"My concussion? What are you talking about? Where I am?"

Why can't I remember anything. And why does my body still hurt.

I tried to think back to what happened, I saw Dr. Styles waving and smiling to people.... at a football game. But then what happened after that. My head hurts just trying to think about it.

"Earth to Dr. Korasick." Dr. Styles said breaking my attention, and causing me to focus on him.

I looked at him, waiting for him to continue.

"We have to put you under because you have to get CT scans and then have surgery to fix your clavicle." He responded as him and a nurse slowly started rolling me down the hallway towards the elevator.

"A broken clavicle, are you serious? Are we at AHI?" I asked seeing a look of confusion come over his face.

We get into the elevator and Dr. Styles pulls out his flashlight, blinding me in the eyes again, causing my free hand to push his light out of the way.

"Jasmine! Stop!" He said as he held my available hand down and blinded me once again in each eye, focusing on them for a considerable amount of time. I mean, not that I didn't mind the view, but I feel so trapped, and the blinding light made my head hurt more.

As the elevator dinged, signaling that we reached the right floor, Dr. Styles put his flashlight away and started pushing my bed faster towards radiology, which made me worry why he picked up speed all of a sudden.

But when he did, I began to feel like the bed was spinning and I could barely focus on Dr. Styles because he kept on moving everywhere and making circles around me.

"Dr. Styles, I don't feel so good." I said as I shut my eyes, hoping that the spinning would stop.

"Well good thing that we're here then." He said before he I heard him walk away.

I hesitantly opened my eyes to see if the room was spinning, and saw a blurry version of Dr. Styles walk up next to my bed.

I saw him fidget with something, but I don't know what it was. Well until, I watched him grab my left arm by my IV and insert a needle of anesthesia into my IV.

He offered me a smirk before whispering "Sweet dreams." and then I was out.
