{ Fixed Version } (HIATUS)
At first, I thought, or well believed I was an ordinary girl, until, one day, my whole world came crashing down, but then I guess on that same day, I was blessed with the pleasure of a new life.
As we were greeted by the rest of the guild, there in the crowd, a strange man, his eyes covered with a bandana, short hair, he's wearing a long cloak that reaches his knees, if you count the tailcoat shaped ends, how do I explain it?
Well, the top part in was like a suit, but with ruffles leading downwards, right above them, he is wearing a bowtie, which connects to two buttons, his sleeves are pulled up, since they were long. Where it starts to end, which is the part that looks like a tailcoat, it is framed weirdly, as it sorta turns into what looks like half of an 'X', there are buttons on both ends, while apart of it has pockets, did I mention that this cloak happens to have a hoodie? I don't think I did, its main colors are black and white, pretty cliche.
His hair is black, so was his bandana, I'm sensing some emo vibes coming off him. But that doesn't mean he is, it's just the cliche look of someone who looks like an emo, like in the early '2000s' how they all wore black and had fluffy hair that literally covered their eyes, like how could you see? Never mind that, but the air is strange, like whenever I look at him, it's like the air changes? I don't know how to say it, but it's a weird feeling.
"Lydia, let me take care of these children." The man I was looking at, spoke out towards the woman named Lydia, it seemed like it shocked her, I wonder why?
"O-Okay.. Mr. Larkshaw, how will you accommodate them?" Lydia asks him,
"Obviously, they'll live with me, I own my own manor, but it is so lonely, it'd be nice to have some company." Mr. Larkshaw tells the woman,
"Okay sir, but you'll have to meet up with the council first, before you can do anything." Lydia said in a very strict tone,
"Fine- But know that I'm not going to accept any of their requests, if they ask for anything from me, I'll be extremely mad and assume you set me up." He said, he seemed annoyed,
"Y-Yeah, just make sure to knock first in their door, they're in a meeting right now with the Baron." Lydia said,
"The Baron, that's extremely strange." The strange man mutters,
"Well, lets go children, we'll be meeting some important figures, but don't think much of them." The man tells us, patting both my brother's and my head.

We come to a door, that seems grand by the looks of if. But, as I turn to look up at the strange man, he seems extremely pissed to be here.
He suddenly knocks on the door,
> "Come in, come in!" <
A voice from inside is heard, the man opens the door, as we walk in, it looks like a meeting you'd see in my old world.
"Why hello there, Steven." A old man asks,
"I'd like to look after these children, if that'd be fine with you." Steven said,
"Ah, yes, my boy that's fine. Make sure to take good care of them, nowadays, all the youngsters think they're royalty. Shape them right so that doesn't get into their head, I've seen some of these young misses at these parties, trying to get the attention of his highness." The man said,
"Aren't they all like that? But don't worry, these two won't turn into spoiled little brats." Steven said, turning his head at us, a glint in his eyes.
He grabs our hands, then takes us out of the room.

Suddenly we are, what seems like, we were teleported to another place. My brother and I are both groggily, since it is our first time teleporting.
"Sorry kiddos, forgot you're still children, usually you don't teleport until you're around fifteen." Steven said, he then sighs,
"How do I even take care of children?" He asks himself,
"Excuse me, sir?" My brother asks,
"Y-Yes, what is it kid?" Steven questions,
"When do we get to learn about our magic?" My brother asks,
"Oh~ That's it? You get to learn about your magic when you are about thirteen, when you officially become a teenager." He responds, at least it seems the age system is still the same,
"What's it to you?" Steven continues,
"U-Um, I've always wondered about it, since I've gotten the chance, I wanted to ask." My brother tells him,
"You'll be going far kid, I can already sense it. You'll be blessed with extraordinary magic, so will your sister. But, focus on being kids, okay kids?" He tells us,
""*Un, Un*""
