Chapter 8 : Wish I could see your face!

After Sati climbs the stairs to her room Kanwar Singh looks towards Rudra, "You bought her safely it's a relief. Let's head to the meeting room you can put all the goods later. Joshi you can leave".

Rudra follows Kanwar Singh to his room while Joshiji retires to his quarters.

Kanwar Singh sits on the sofa asks, "Why were you late?"

Rudra replies, "She was too stubborn to leave early".

Kanwar Singh, "So anything...."

Rudra continues, "I encountered two horse while going at the Likhor area. While coming back I saw a single horse near Bhakar area near Chathri's. I am sure the later were not the Taliwals".

Kanwar Singh both his hands together beside his thighs, "Jaaths are not brave that they will spy in dark."

Rudra immediately says, "I will go look for it tomorrow".

Kanwar Singh orders, "No, you just focus on Sati and make her spill out the way to passages while I will take care of the rest."

Rudra nods Kanwar Singh continues, "Rudra you have three weeks with you. Two days later Jaiwant Singh is going to visit regarding Sati's marriage so better hurry up!".

Rudra closes his eyes for a second opening them he asks, "How can I make her say...."

Rudra is interrupted by Kanwar Singh who in a calm tone answers, "Rudra, I know your reputation among maids along with few affair scandals. So it won't be a problem as how to make her say right?".

Rudra speaks in an embarrassed tone, "I mean do you give me the liberty with her..... " he coughs continuing "......I mean she is royal and touching her means.....".

Rudra stops as Kanwar Singh laughs then says, "Did you forget you are also a royal the moment I adopted and declared you as my son".

Rudra smiles Kanwar Singh stands putting his hand on Rudra's shoulder speaks, "I cannot play with her can I?" he puts his hands down from Rudra's shoulder walking around the centre table.

Kanwar Singh smirks then continues, "So Rudra you have to play her, coz she's that bastard's daughter who made my life miserable even after his death. You can destroy her in your ways after you are sure you get what you want from her".

Rudra nods leaving the room. He half smiles murmuring himself, "Sati, just few steps away I am from you".

Sati climbs the stairs to her room then walking back towards Rati's room. She knocks Rati's door, seconds later footsteps noise rush in her direction opening the door.

Rati pulls Sati inside making her lie on her bed. Sati lies down beside the Rati who's sitting near her waist. Minutes later maids drop the bags picked from the car in Rati's room.

Rati rushes bringing all the bags on the bed opening them one by one. She then sighs, "Thank you Sati for bringing the cloth I was out of it. You know my period is nearing like in three four days."

Sati with hers eyes closed replies, "You never asked me buy this in first place. And it was Rudra who bought this".

Rati guilty replies, "Okay, I am just saying".

Sati in a low husky voice speaks, "Let me rest for few minutes, I am really tired because of the long and exhausting route".

Rati in an cold voice, "I know and also the dangerous route. I mean usually Jeesa, Joshiji or Rudra would go for their important matters. We women aren't allowed, it is only like once in six months we are allowed to visit maybe because of the bandits".
