Chapter 1

J a d e ' s P O V

"Thank you everyone for yet again, another amazing show! We love you!" I shouted into the microphone. We had just finished our 6th concert for our world tour; we were currently in America. Our band was really well known pretty much everywhere.

The crowd started chanting my name, I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as to why they were saying my name.

Suddenly something really heavy landed on me and I opened my eyes.

Great, I was dreaming.

I looked to find that the 'heavy thing' that had landed on me was Chase, I guess he jumped on me.

I groaned, "What do you think your doing? I'm trying to sleep here."

He chuckled, I gave him a questioning look as to why he's laughing.

"Don't you remember?" He asked, still laughing.

"Remember what?" I asked, getting irritated at the fact he won't get straight to the point.

"We have an interview today!" He threw his arms up in the air.

My eyes widened in realisation. Of course! How could I have forgotten? I'm so stupid. "Shit!"

I looked at my phone to see it was 11, I had a limited amount of time to get ready since NovaFM Studio is far from here.

*1 hour and 10 mins later*

"Jade! Seriously? Are you almost done?" Kayla asked.

I finished tying up my converse and stood up, "Ready!"

"Our first interview ever, I'm so excited!" Jenny squealed as we all laughed at her excitement.

We all got into our van and Chase, being the oldest, drove us to NovaFM Studio. The drive was 1 hour and 18 minutes long, we lived in Wollongong which is around the outskirts of Sydney, and NovaFM Studios is bang in the middle of Sydney.

We have all been trying to save up money to afford to live in the building in Leichhardt, Sydney. We have enough money, we just haven't found the right time to move yet.

I looked out the window to see we were parking in the car park of Nova Studios.

Before Chase even had a chance to turn the engine off; myself, Jenny, Maria and Kelly burst the doors open and ran straight into the building for two reasons; one being we were very excited and two being we were about 2 minutes away from being late for our interview.

Chase caught up to us and we were all gasping for air, me being the worst. Wow, I really should get more fit.

Soon enough a lady walked into the room and he face lit up as she spotted us, "Oh good! Your all here! Follow me."

She waved her hand and we followed her into a fairly small room, but if was big enough to fit all of us in.

I was still in awe at the fact we were at our first ever interview, never did I think this day would come so soon.

We all sat down in the seats that were placed around randomly.

Suddenly a man walked into the room and he looked as if he was in his mid-twenties. I observed him from head to toe, he had short brown hair and wore a pale red plaid button up.

"Hello guys! My name is Kent Small and I will be hosting your interview today. I'm so excited to actually interview you guys, believe it or not I love your music." He smiled, his accent was a lot thicker than ours. Probably because he was from Sydney and we were from outside of Sydney.

"That's amazing! Thanks for having us here." Chase smiled at the man.

After a few minutes of setting up the interview had began.

"What's up guys! It's Smallzy here and I'm very excited for todays video as we are interviewing the new upcoming Aussie band, Daft Avenue!"

A/N I'm actually really excited for this book :) the interview will continue in chapter 2 x

I decided to upload a few chapters of this book, however the updates will be very slow due to the other book I am writing.
