Once we finally got home I went straight to the main room, taking up the whole sofa.
I looked over to see the other sofa was occupied by my four best friends. "You took your time." Kayla spoke, whilst grabbing a handful of Doritos and ate them.
"That's because Michael needed some help." I winked at Michael as I saw him walk into the room, the other three behind him.
"Shut up." He whined.
He moved my head off of the sofa and sat where my head was seconds ago. He then placed my head back down onto his lap, grinning at me.
"Well hello there." I giggled.
"Hey." He smiled again.
Luke let out a disgruntled sigh. "Where are Ashton and I supposed to sit?" He whined.
"On the floor." Maria winked.
They both groaned, but sat on the carpet anyways. Everyone engaged themselves in conversation as I just listened, letting Michael stroke my hair.
"Hey, so I know that I'm Daft Avenue's band manager. So who's yours?" Kayla leaned back on the sofa.
"Adam!" Ashton cheered.
"How come we haven't met him before?" Chase asked, his forearms on his knees as he leant forward on the sofa.
"He's visiting his family. In fact, there's a chance he will be at the Halloween party." Calum spoke as Luke smiled.
"Can't wait to meet him." Maria smiled.
"I'm super excited for the party." Jenny spoke for the first time since we got home.
I zoned their voices out as I looked up to Michael, "You know, I had a weird dream last night." I closed my eyes, waiting for Michaels response.
I heard him hum, so I took that as my que to carry on. "You came into my room, and laid next to me. You also said that you 'Hadn't fallen for someone this fast' or something like that." I quoted what he told me in my dream.
I felt Michael tense underneath me, so I opened my eyes to see him looking straight ahead, no longer stroking my hair.
I lifted myself up and looked at him clearly, "What's wrong?" I said in a hushed tone, so the others don't hear.
He took a minute to respond, as if he was trying to find the right words. "Nothing," His voice cracked slightly, "That's a weird dream."
I decided to let the subject go, as he seemed uncomfortable for some reason. The room was so tense you could practically cut it with a knife.
"So," Jenny broke the silence, "When are you guys heading back to Sydney?"
"Tonight," Luke started, "But we were wondering if you guys wanted to stay a night at our place. Y'know, because we slept here, and the party is tomorrow. "
"Sure!" Jenny jumped up and down. She was always the energetic one.
I just rolled my eyes and put my head back on Michaels lap, hoping it wasn't too awkward. I still don't know why he tensed up, it was only a dream.
I cuddled my head into Michaels lap, getting comfortable. I felt him start to stroke my hair again, soothing me, so I closed my eyes and before I knew it, I was asleep.

I stared at Jade's peaceful body as I stroked her soft, bleached hair.
I could of sworn she was asleep that night I cuddled in her bed with her, I mean, she didn't exactly push me off of her.
"So, you and Jade?" Maria cocked an eyebrow.
"What about us? We're two friends." I rolled my eyes, still patting her hair down.
"You like her."
I put my fingers up to my lips, "Shut up. She's going to hear you."
"So you do like her!" Jenny and Maria squealed.
"Yes! Now shut up."
"She likes you too," Kayla told me.
"And how would you know that?"
"She hasn't exactly told us, but I've known her since we were both in diapers. I know when she likes someone, she always has that certain goofy smile whenever she sees you." Jenny spoke.
My heart skipped a beat at that. Could she actually like me?
I decided not to reply as I felt Jade stir on my lap. I bent my head down to her ear, still stroking her hair after this while. "Are you okay?" I whispered.
Her eyes fluttered open, "Yeah." She smiled, "I'm fine."
I took note of her smile. It stretched from ear to ear and her cute dimple on her left cheek popped out. Could this be the smile Jenny was talking about?
She looked so gorgeous in this moment, her hair was all over the place due to my hand from stroking it. Her eyes sparkled and were slightly droopy since she just woke up from her nap.
She sat back up and stretched slightly, making her back pop, to which I cringed to.
"What time is it?" She mumbled, leaning into my side.
"It's time you got a watch." Chase snickered.
She just rolled her eyes and threw a pillow at his direction, causing him to make a 'hmph' sound.
"Dick." She muttered, leaning her head on my shoulder.
"It's almost 6," Calum informed us.
"We should get going." Ashton clapped his hands together.
We all nodded in agreement.
"Also, bring your costumes for the party with you, since the party is tomorrow." Ashton smiled once more.
We all took our costumes and made our way to the two vans.
"Wait," Kayla interjected right before we entered our separate vans, "We should have one of you guys with us, so you can drive us to your place."
We all looked over at Calum, since he was the better driver out of Luke, him and I.
"I'll go." Calum marched over to their van as did the other four, excluding Jade.
"There's no room for me!" She threw her arms in the air.
"You have to go in the other van with the guys." Jenny rolled her eyes.
Jade groaned by obliged anyways as she made her way over to my direction. I looked over her shoulder to see Jenny wink at me. She told Jade to come here on purpose.
I shook my head playfully at her as I opened the door for Jade.
"Shotgun!" Luke yelled as he ran to the front seat, next to Ashton.
I rolled my eyes as I got in the back with Jade. Normally, I would whine because I would want the front seat, but I would rather sit in the back with Jade.
"Off to Sydney we go!" Ashton chanted.
