Peter was just having a normal day working in the labs with Tony before a bunch of HYDRA operatives had to go and ruin it all.
Peter and Tony were working on improvements for the Iron Spider suit when the distress call had came through. There was a distress phone on every floor for this exact reason. This wasn't Tony's first run-in with HYDRA, especially not in his tower, but it shocked Peter.
Tony gave FRIDAY the command, and then the nanoparticles assembled around him, forming the Iron-Man suit.
Peter ripped his clothes off to reveal the Civil War suit, and slipped the mask on his face.
FRIDAY alerted them that the operatives were in the elevator heading up and would be there in less than a minute. They got into fighting stances, and then the doors dinged open.
The operatives spilled out, all in black. They were clutching semi-automatics and started firing as soon as they saw Peter and Tony.
The bullets pinged harmlessly off of both of them. Tony was surprised that Peter wasn't taking any damage, preparing to shield him, but found he didn't need to.
See, the last time Shuri had been around the tower, she had worked with Peter to make an invisible force field activated with a touch on the vibranium bracelet on his right wrist. Peter couldn't feel the force field, but he knew it was there, hovering nanometers above the surface of his skin. The force field was invisible to the naked eye, only barely visible through a microscope.
When the operatives ran out of bullets, Peter and Tony charged them. The operatives took out knives of various sizes, ranging from practically katanas to slim daggers.
Peter and Tony engaged them in combat. Well, Peter did. Tony just blasted all of them that tried to charge him with his repulsors.
The blades didn't come close to piercing his skin, thanks to the shield. So, obviously the HYDRA operatives must have thought that his skin was just impenetrable.
"What are you?" One of them asked.
Peter deepened his voice, before responding, "Your worst nightmare."
He then knocked out the operative, and looked around. Every agent was taken care of, and so he walked back over to Tony, removing the mask and tapping the bracelet.
"Kid, how did you not get shot?" Tony asked in bewilderment.
"What can I say," Peter said. "I'm just indestructible." He then walked away, leaving a very confused Ironman behind.
