That Was... Easy

This was it. The final trip. After this they could go home. The main base they went for was where they believed all the players had gone, making it that much more important. At least, that's what they had assumed Octoboy said before it was translated to "I'm starving."
They were in the rafters to try and strike at the heart of their enemies. Not being spotted had just been hard work. To make it easier, Marina gave Jay roller skates to keep up as well as a Splatterscope, each had been equipped with ninja squid gear(minus Fyrus and Dan, obviously) and Pearl came up with a set of hand gestures for commands to each other. Eventually, the group came across a small room with a familiar telephone and the armored squid.
"What did you expect-"
"Are you questioning me? I RUN this ENTIRE operation!"
"You don't have to be a genius to run this dump."
"YOU TWO! Get this octoling OUT OF MY SIGHT before you are REMOVED PERMANENTLY!" At the order, the two guards ran up to the sides of the octoling and dragged them out of the room. The octoling didn't necessarily argue, they just sighed in annoyance.
Pearl and Marina jumped down from the ceiling to greet the phone, "Hey, boxy! Whatcha up to these days?"
It didn't seem surprised. How disappointing. "Welcome, AGENTS!"
"...Tartar." Marina added quietly. "What's your goal with this twisted 'organization'?"
"This network of controlled squids is FAR superior to YOURS! Even stole your numbers once or twice!" Jay aimed his scope at Tartar, but Fyrus pushed it back to point at the floor. In response, Jay rolled his eyes.
"Who cares? This is our fight, not theirs!" Pearl objected.
"Oh, do you not see? You only supplied me with what I needed. Your players are the gateway to REALITY! Those 'parasites' SPREAD! The world will be MINE if I give it enough time!"
"Typical super villain." Dan commented.
Etce turned to him, "I'm flattered!" Callie just looked at him like he was crazy.
Vian and Gab jumped down to land beside Pearl and Marina, aiming at the strange being. "We need you all to reset the game." Marina decided.
"That's too risky." Pearl countered, "They could awaken an entirely new enemy!"
Marie leapt down as well, "There's no other way."
"Woomy?" Timo questioned.
"You all need to get splatted. It might hurt but it's the only way to save everything; including yourselves. If you do this, though, we will call you back soon."
"Why did you never tell us this?" Etce asked loudly.
"We couldn't have you backing out!" Callie decided.
So, as you anticlimactically expected, they splatted each other. Gab got Vian, Vian got Gab, Etce got Timo and Dan, Timo got Etce, Jay got Fyrus and Fyrus got Jay. How... underwhelming. Such a sad way to end it...
But...
It can't be over yet, can it?
Such a short chapter to end it...
We didn't even get to see 'Splatoon Scenes'...
Well I guess there's only one option.

We end it there.

Problem is...

The plot refused.

SPLATOON SCENES: A DOCUMENTARY BY ETCE AND DAN
"...Timo."
"Timo."

"So-di-by-MO!" Octoboy whirled around to face the camera, making the entire camera stumble back before turning around.
"Run away before he kills us!"
"Danana isn't alive enough for me to die!"
The camera blurred before moving to the next setting.
"...offended."
It was an absolutely awful shot of Fyrus and Jay, working together to hold what looked like a splatling. "Whatcha doing?" They both jumped and there was a little yelling and screaming before the camera fell to the floor and blacked out.
And, after a small title sequence of 'bonus'...
"Look at him, running on five hours of sleep and Redbull!" It was Fyrus in the driver's seat of a car.
"I do not have the energy to put up with you right now."
"I do!" Gab appeared in frame with a big grin on his face. "Don't listen to Dan! Sleep is important!"
"No-o-"
