3. Promotion

Forth's POV

It's been a month since I started working in Baramee Inc. and I won't lie if I'll say that I wasn't enjoying it. Even though I was working with less pay than what I was getting earlier I am still happy.

It's not because of the reason because it was Beam's company, but I love the ambiance of it. People are so nice and friendly here, they will help you whenever you have shit loads of work without asking anything in return.

I made many friends within a month, yeah... there were some girls and boys who tried to get too close to me in hope of making me their lover but I politely told them that I already have someone in my life, they accepted it and words of me being in love with someone was spread like a fire in a jungle throughout the office, ever since that day nobody came to me with proposal.

"Khun Jatrupoom , CEO wants to see you in his office."  one of my colleague inform me. I thank him and went towards CEO's office.

I wonder what happen, why he is calling me suddenly? Did I do something wrong? Oh God!! Don't tell me he is going to fire me???

Knock knock

"Come in."

"Good afternoon sir, did you call me?"

"Yes Khun, please take a seat."  he said while reading something in file.

"Ummm...did...did I do something wrong sir?" I asked hesitatingly.

He look up at my face and smile,"You think I called you because you did something wrong?"

I nodded.

He chuckle and said,"It's totally opposite actually."

"What do you mean sir?"

"You see, we know you are very talented boy and the post that you are currently working does not suit your talent." he said.

"I don't understand sir?"

"Well, I mean is that you are getting promoted next week...................... for the post of MD."

I think I heard it wrong so I asked again,"I am sorry?"

"I said, you have been promoted for the post of MD, starting next week." he said again.

My eyes were wide open,"How..why..when...I mean-"

"Relax Khun, you deserve it. Our current MD is going to retire next week and you will be taking up his place. I have arranged a meeting for you with him later in evening, he will explain everything about your work to you and yeah, don't worry he will be assisting you until you will learn everything." he said giving me wide smile.

"Thank you sir, thank you so much."

"Don't thank me, you deserve it."

I thought for a while, if I was going to get promoted for the post of MD then it means Beam must have heard about me, since this is very big change for a company. "Ummm..what about Khun Baramee sir, did he know about me?"

"Oh yeah, he knows that I am promoting someone for the post of MD, not full details of you  though and he said that he trust me with my decisions."

"Oh..okay. I'll take my leave then sir."

"Sure, have a good day."

"You too sir."

Later in evening I met with current MD, he explained everything to me. He was really nice guy, kind of reminded me of my dad.
