i will always remember the day mark smiled at me for the first time. 

it was one month after i discovered he was jeno's brother. also, since that day, i tried my best to get closer with jeno, to... you know... maybe meet mark one day? anyway. he had just smiled at me. don't take my words wrong. he didn't smile specifically at me. well he did, but not how you expect it. 

it was after the maths class. and a maths class during which jisung hadn't stoped one minute talking me about his chenle, well, his... his soon to be let's say. he was another boy of mark and jaemin's class, and jisung had met him thanks to jaemin, and since that day, he couldn't shut his mouth about him. not that it bothered me, it's always morte interesting than a maths lesson. 

anyways, it happened after this maths class. 

i was waiting for lucas in front of my class. we had our lessons next to each other on that day. but i had to go to the school's library with jisung to get a book for the litterature lesson. so i was waiting for jisung, who was too busy talking to people inside the class to understand i was waiting for him outside. well, i was also waiting for lucas, because that's what i usually did at that time of the day, to share funny things that happened during our classes. well, it was also the time of the week i could admire mark, because he was not so far away. 

lucas arrived quickly. we talked a bit until i had to excuse myself. "sorry bro, i need to get jisung, otherwise we're going to get detention..." i said opening my class' door. "jisung, move you ass, we gotta go to the library!" i yelled. i closed the door back and faced lucas again, but my eyes weren't on him. they were glued on a certain someone walking towards me. noticinging i wasn't paying attention to him, lucas turned around and understood what was my problem. 

i had explained him a week ago that i was falling for mark. he had laughed a lot, but now he was cool with it. 

still looking at mark who was almost next to lucas, i noticed my best friend making signs in my direction. one of my eyes could see he was showing something about the mouth? the teeh? the smile? i didn't decipher well. but the he pointed to mark. so, as a curious soul, i looked at mark's mouth, with insistance, and a bit too much obviously. when i realized what i was doing, i panicked. i met mark's eyes, i didn't know what to do. i quickly smiled, as my brain had stopped functioning. and, well, he smiled back to me, which made me see his beautiful white teeth. 

i then understood what lucas meant by showing me his mouth. mark had just taken off his braces, and he was even more beautiful without them. 

as i was in my little panick moment, jisung got out of the class just behind me. "oh, hello mark." he said shaking his hand. "hello." mark answered and then left to join his friends. 

lucas, who had seen the whole scene was laughing, and jisung took my shoulders and shook me. "he smiled at you! how cute! don't worry chan, everything's right". i felt like fainting. jisung had to pull me to the library, otherwise i would have fallen every two steps.

my mind left, getting on his own little cloud, where everything was perfect, and where mark and i were friends... and perhaps, something more?
