Becoming the member means that you will be expected to write something every so often and either email or pm it to us. Email is in the bio. You don't have to write us anything particularly often, but obviously please do something, otherwise there's no point becoming a member.
Each thing you write will go into one of our different books, depending on which it fits best. To find out more about these books, take a look at them individually (found on our profile). What you write is up to you: an informative piece, a poem, a short story, an article, even a recipe!
Everything you write should meet the following criteria:
- written in English
- good grammar, punctuation and spelling (doesn't need to be perfect, just legible)
- related to the environment/nature/animals/climate etc in some way
- no more than 1500 words
- factually true and not offensive
We also accept art to feature in our magazine as long it's related to nature in some way.
If you'd like to become a member, pm us or comment here and introduce yourself! Then we'll add you to our members list.
Note: before we revamped this, we already had a lot of members. To all of you, you don't need to reapply. However, if you'd like your name taken off the members list, let us know.
Please don't apply for this if you don't intend to do anything. If you want to support us, but don't want the commitment of having to write something just read our books, follow us, give us a shoutout, anything you like!
