Maybe I've become numb
So much so I don't even hear you come
I am sitting in the dark
There's no room for any light to pass
The air is sordid
My thoughts confused
I want to come out of this blue
So that I can be happy just like you
In this darkness, my mind is fading
My body eroding
Feeding on all my thoughts
Growing on my fears
My eyes are accustomed to nothing but darkness
Trying to escape is useless
It seems like ages since I have seen any light
Dreaming of being saved helps me sleep at night
But now I can't seem to cope
I'm losing all my hope
Can you help me?

Give me your hand
Pull me into the light
Can you do it for me please?
