Soliel's POV

I'm suffering from a rare-disease called Xeroderma Pigmentosum also known as XP a skin disorder that when my skin is exposed to the sun I'm gonna suffer from skin cancer, and my brain starts to malfunction and shut down that can lead to death. Cool isn't it? or should I say hot isn't it?

Yeah I'm not a normal girl like the others, who can go to school, who can hangout with their friends, and who can go outside underneath the sun.

I live with my mom and dad. Since I was a child, I was homeschooled because of my condition. I live behind the special windows in my room.

And one thing that's part of my morning routine, is to look on my window everyday, because of someone. Gosh! How can he be so cute and handsome at the same time?!

Oh! Speaking of, there he is riding on his skateboard. I bet he's on his way on school. And err there's this tree in our front yard, that partly blocking his image.

"UGH! Stupid tree!" I uttered underneath my breath.

"Soliel, anak kakain na!" Oh! Yeah right! I almost forgot.

"Andyan na po ma!" I answered back, while going downstairs.

"Goodmorning Ma,Pa!" I greeted them, with a sweet smile that's plastered on my face.

"Goodmorning too, anak" said mama.

"Goodmorning too, baby" papa answered.

I was walking towards them, to finally sit on my table and eat my breakfast.

And after that I went up in my room so that I can do my morning rituals.

As I was walking onto the stairs, I got my phone on my pocket, so I could play some music.

I just press the shuffle button and "Shake it off by Taylor Swift" is playing. I dance with it and started doing my rituals.

I immediately go down, after what I did. And to my surprise there's a girl standing by the door. Maybe she's just my age. She seems nice. Unlike those group of girls who always bullied me, calling me vampire. Like ghorl as if vampires do exist. Research muna bago bully okie?

Well I don't mind them naman eh. They can think what they wanna think about me. Besides you can't control people who hates you. But you can control yourself. And mama always told me to not fight back, pag pinatulan mo kasi sila wala ka ng ipinagkaiba towards them.

I turned my gaze on the girl. I smiled as she smiled back at me.

"Hi"she uttered

"Hey" I replied.

And that is the day that someone bravely came to our house to ask for my friendship. Her name's Morgan. Morgan Akira Torres.
