Chapter 8: Revelations

Mt. Silver, Johto

In between the Kanto and Johto Regions stood Mt. Silver. The tallest and most dangerous mountain to climb also known as the Mountain of no return. Why? Well 5 reasons. 1. It is prohibited to climb it. Only Pokémon Rangers and those with special permission can climb the treacherous mountain. 2. Oxygen level at the top are low. Not to mention the strong Blizzards that can blow anyone of the face of the Mountain. 3. The temperature on the mountain more specifically higher up or near the summit and peak can go from near freezing to below freezing which can cause Frost bite and Hypothermia. 4. Mt. Silver isn't just a large mountain it also has a highly complex cave system that can also give even the most experienced cavers a lot of trouble, a high chance of getting lost and a low chance of ever seeing the light of day ever. 5. The high level wild pokémon ranging from well camouflaged Onix and Steelix, selfdestructing Geodude, Graveler, and Golem, and Extremely Territorial Tyranitars who won't hesitate to blow you off the face of the mountain with no problems. But nevertheless 4 trainers still managed to defy the odds and reached the summit of the most dangerous and tallest mountain in the world. Some say they're not real, others that they're dead, while most would say that they are legends.

3rd Person POV.

A raven black haired man is standing near the edge of the cliff of the tallest mountain in the world. His hair has crimson streaks and tips in it as well as crimson eyes. He wore a red sleeveless vest with a white collar over a black shirt under it, dark blue jeans, black and red boots, and a red baseball cap to top it of. He also he has a Pikachu on his shoulder and a Charizard behind him. His Name is Red Satoshi Ketchum. Ash's older brother.

" So where do you think he is ?" Red asked., both pokémon looked at eachother and shrugged their shoulders.

"Who knows?" Charizard said as he looked on in the distance.
(A/N: yes Red can use aura similar to his brother.)

" You know?.... There's a rumour going around that he went into hiding in a region somewhere." Pikachu said, just then a blonde haired woman walked up to him. She had yellow eyes and black streaks in her hair. She wore a black long sleeved sweater along with blue leggings, black boots with yellow lining and a sundress that went to her knees and cut at the sides. She looked about a year younger than him.(A/N: Yeah i know for a fact that she is at least two to three years younger than Red in the Manga but whatever). Her name is Yellow Ketchum Oak, Red and Ash's Sister.

"Yo bro!" She said as Red turned to face her.

"What's up Yel?" Red replied.
( A/N: Arceus im bad with nicknames.)

" I have bad news bro." She said as she gestured to the cabin. Red nodded and told his pokémon to head to the cave. (A/N: Their pokémon practically blasted a new cave in to the mountain and they turned it into they're own sanctuary with warm water and berries and whenever it got to cramped they would expand it.) As the siblings went inside the cabin they saw four people talking to eachother. There are two men and two women. One looked about the same age as him he had spiked up brown hair and blue eyes, he wore a black long sleeved jacket over a white polo shirt, khaki pants and black shoes with blue lining. The other one looked about 5 years younger than him he had raven black hair with sky blue tips and blue eyes, he wore a black long sleeved jacket over a blue sweater, black and grey pants and black boots. He also wore an sky blue scarf that resembled the flames of a Mega Charizard X, gray and black fingerless gloves and, and a black mega bracelet. Their names are Blue Oak, Red's Brother in Law as well as Yellow's Husband and Alain Ketchum, Red and Yellow's younger brother.

"Alain! Is that you?" Red asked surprised and gained their attention.

" Yes. It is me it's good to see again bro and congratulations on your marriage BTW." Alain replied as he hugged his brother and sister. Just then a woman about Red's Age walked up to him kissing him on the lips. She has dark brown hair that went to her back and green eyes. She wore a mint green long sleeved jacket over a black long sleeved sweater, black leggings with a red knee length skirt over it her name is Leaf Green Ketchum, Red's Wife. (A/N: I know that Leaf doesn't wear these clothes but try climbing a mountain wearing her Fire Red / Leaf Green clothes.)

"Welcome back sweetie." She says with a smile. Red just smiled back at her as he looked towards Alain to see woman right next to her holding his hand. She had maroon hair that is in a ponytail and eyes of the same color. She wore a light green long sleeved jacket over a yellow shirt along with maroon leggings and brown boots. She also looks about a year younger than Alain. (A/N: Let's face it we all know her name. And yes she doesn't wear these clothes but she's grown.)

" So Alain who is she? " Red asked as the pair blushed whilst he and Yellow snickered.

"S-sh-she's M-m-m- Mairin..... My G-g-g- Girlfriend." Alain stammered out as both he and said woman blushed hard.

" Congrats bro." Red said patting him on the back.

" So what's the bad news?" Red asked all of a sudden. All of them apart from Yellow seemed to have frozen.

" Well ( sigh ) it's about Ash. He... He... He's dead!" Alain as he fell to his knees and broke down. Red and the others eyes widened in shock. Yellow hugged her brother tightly and just cried, while Red was at a loss for words.

"H-H-How?" Red stammered out.

"Team Rocket." Alain said as he had calmed down.

" Impossible! They've been disbanded 14 years ago after Blue and I defeated Giovanni!" Red said, Alain then brought out a tablet.

"See for yourself." Alain said playing the news from two weeks ago.

" Pallet Town hero killed by secret assassination of Kanto Region's Evil Organization Team Rocket. We are here live at Pallet town where one of the heroes of Kalos hails from. Now we learn what happened from the grieving mother Delia Ketchum." The reporter said holding the microphone towards Delia.

"A-A-A-Ash why?! Why did you have to do this for us?!" She sobbed out.

"Mrs. Ketchum can you tell us what happened?" The reporter asks as Delia nodded.

"Well i invited all of his friends here to celebrate his success at the Kalos League. Next thing I know we heard a blast outside. And what we found were nothing but his hat." Delia explained whilst showing Ash's charred hat.

"Thank you for explanation Mrs. Ketchum and I'm sorry for your loss you have my condolences." The reporter says.

"Thank you." Delia says sadly as she walked back into her house. Just then the camera rotates to face Serena.

"Miss Yvonne. Can you tell us what happened beforehand?" The reporter asks as Serena nodded.

"Well before i arrived i went to Hoenn to check out the contests. I was shocked at what has happened i never would've thought that they would do this to him." Serena explains.

"How long have you known him?" The reporter asks again.

"I've known him for 11 years when i attended Professor Oak's Summer Camp. He helped me when i was injured and when he went to Kalos he inspired me to follow my dreams of becoming Kalos Queen. He even gave me the phrase 'Never give up till it's over'." She explained sadly.

"I see. Thank you Miss Yvonne." The reporter says.

"We tried to get a statement from the world renowned Professor Oak when this happened." The reporter says as some footage of the news team and Gary at Professor Oak's Lab front door was shown.

"Excuse me but can we interview Professor Oak?" The reporter asks, Gary shakes his head.

"I sorry but he is still mourning Ash's Death. Since he is like his grandson as well. Even though we had our differences he is still my first friend. No my first best friend he was like a brother to me." Gary explained trying to hold back his tears.

"I understand. I hope we didn't bother you?" The reporter in the footage says apologetically.

"It's fine." Gary says as the video ends. All of them except for the Kalos duo stood there in shock.

"It's a lie!" Red said as his eyes narrowed.

(A/N: So Ash has siblings. Alain, Red, and Yellow Ketchum and siblings and future sibling in law.
Yeah i know that they are not related but based on their appearance and personality in both the anime and manga but i think it's a good idea to make them siblings. Any ways Peace out ✌️.)
