Friends Reunited.

After their battle both Trainers left the battlegrounds and went on their respective ways. Ash found his friends in an area with a hot spring so he decided to join them.

"So Ash How's the battle?" Hau asked.

"It was nostalgic... It reminded me of the time when i battled Juan for the Rain Badge." The Aura User replied.

"Who did you fight anyway?" Verity asked.

"Keep it down but it was... Wallace." He said.

"What!" They all exclaimed.

"You battled and defeated Wallace?!" Lillie asked.

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Lana asked.

"Lucky Bastard!" Kiawe said.

"First off all Yes... They're probably trying to avoid attention since they're famous... And yes yes i am." Ash said.

"That makes sense... Wait by they're? Who's with him?" Sorrel asked.

"Lisia... His niece." Ash said.

"Lisia?!... As in the one with the Altaria!" Mallow asked.

"Yeah." Ash said.

"Well what do we have here?" said a voice. They turned towards where the voice came from, to see a blond emo teen walking towards them.

"Brother!" Lillie said.

"What! Brother?" the three captains asked.

"Yo Gladion." Ash said.

"Thought you'd be here." He said as he joined the in the spring.

*sigh*"This is the life." He said contently, just then Lisia walked up to them in a blue and white two piece.

"Mind if i join you?" She asked.

"Sure."Ash said, she thanked him and went in.

"You really are powerful. To beat my uncle's Milotic like that." Lisia said.

"Well let's just say I've got my fair share of battles against Milotic Trainers." Ash said.

"Ok, cut the act. I know who you are." She said.

"Oh really?" Ash asked.

"You're Ash Ketchum? Right?" She asked.

"What makes you think that i am?" Ash asked.

"3 things, 1... You think and battle outside the box, 2... You battled with passion, and 3... I can't name anyone else whose Pikachu can beat my uncle's Milotic." She said.

"You caught me." He said, as they began to converse with one another, but when she mentioned both May and Serena, Ash suddenly turned silent, she asked what was wrong, Ash told her of the betrayal, and she was disgusted at the actions of her fellow coordinators. She apologiesed and he accepted, from that moment on there friendship grew.

Later that night.

Ash and his friends decided to join the party, where they met up with Kahili, Kukui, and Burnet. They all had a blast as they danced and drank, although Gladion insisted that Lillie shouldn't drink.

"Come on brother just this once." Lillie insisted.

"Fine, just this once." He said.

"So what are ya gonna do after this?" Ash asked.

"I'm visiting a Pokemon Rescue and Care facility that popped up in Paniola Town." He said, just then Wallace and Lisia walked up to them.

"Ash? Wow Lisia... I thought you were pulling my leg." Wallace said. "How have been?" He asked.

"My life's been paradise ever since arriving here." Ash said, as they chatted, drank and partied all night, after that they went to bed IN SEPARATE BEDS! and they checked out the next day.

"Thanks Kahili see ya soon." Ash said, the captains went on back to their respective trial sites Verity and Sorrel left for Koni-Koni, and Gladion decided to tag along an hour after they left they found themselves I Paniola Town.

"So where is it?" Hau asked, just then a orange haired man walked out of the Pokemon Center the most obvious trait was the cross shape on his bangs, he wore a white shirt under a black sleeves vest, red pants, and black sandals. He was cradling an bandaged Lillipup.

"Cross?" Ash asked, said man looked at him.

"Hey Ash, how's it been?" He said as the old friends shook hands, and introductions were made.

"Say do you know of a Pokemon Rescue and care facility around here?" Ash asked.

"You're looking at the founder." He said as he fed the puppy pokemon.

"Well now? When did that happen?" Ash asked.

"Well since that incident with Ho-oh, i had a lot to think about and i realised that there are many abused and abandoned pokemon out there, so i decided to start this to redeem myself for the crimes i did against pokemon. And its all thanks to you Ash." Cross said.

"Well that's interesting." Gladion said.

"Yeah." Cross said caressing the Lillipup. "This one is my latest rescue."

"Well i was sent here, to give you a proposition. The Aether Foundation will provide you assistance and supplies for you and in exchange will you be willing to go around the other regions to help other pokemon." Gladion said.

"Deal." Cross said as they arrived at his facility. Where they helped him out with some of the chores he along with his Lycanroc and Incineroar were doing.

"Thanks for the help guys." Cross said giving them each a glass of berry juice and malasadas.

"Hey! Caring for many pokemon is hard work." Ash said.

"Well I'll get going I'm telling Mother about this. You can expect some help tomorrow." Gladion said. Cross thanked him.
