Setting:
In an alternate universe, there is a concept called Soul Mates. Everyone has one. To tell whose soulmate is whose, is by their mark. Two people who have the same mark in the same spot and is the same color are soulmates. These marks can be anything, but usual is something significant to the two people. These marks also can differ in color.
People find their soulmate when they are still young. It's rare to meet your soulmate late in life, and even rarer to never meet them in their lifetime.
