Chapter 25

Deku

"Wait...wah?"

My head's spinning and Shocchan got really close, he leaned so close I closed my eyes before I felt something tug at my hands. Timidly, I opened my eyes and saw Shocchan adding his number on my phone and adding mine to his. He had leaned back up and I felt shy for my actions, I looked away and avoided direct eye contact, awkwardly giving my chin a scratch.

Once I got my phone back, I quickly went outside and saw Mina by the snacks shop. I joined her and I saw a carton of some exotic juice. It looked nice so I bought it but the cashier said I could have it for free if I gave her a hug. I did and got my juice for free, everyone is so nice!

I couldn't see Mina anywhere but I saw Iida by himself looking a bit lost. I ran over and smiled when I saw his stressed gave relax, he must've been worried since everyone split up. I looked around him and saw Explo, still on the man from the train. Oops...

Wondering what to do, Mineta wandered over and gave me a smirk before walking over to the man and started whispering to him. A moment later, Mineta came to me and I turned my back to the man, and bent down to let Mineta whisper something.

"He wants a selfie with you and I got him to promise not to touch anyone else."

I nodded before getting up and turning back around to face the man, but he fainted in a puddle of blood that was gushing out of his nose with a phone in hand. Mineta grabbed the phone and furiously typed before getting his familiar to take one of it's sticky purple balls to stick to the man and a rope before handing him over to Iida who dragged the man to the police. Mineta and I then took a selfie together and I felt my butt being squished so I almost instinctively grabbed my armband and summoned Attract. She picked up Mineta as he was so small and threw him a good mile away. She then smiled at me before disappearing again.

So much happened at once and I forgot to even open my drink! I stuck a straw in and panicked a bit. What if I don't like it? I opened my mouth and took a little sip. The cold juice washed my mouth clean and I felt refreshed from the tangy sweet taste that brought forth a smile. I blinked as the sweet tart flavour of this fruit made me almost forgot all reason and I sighed in satisfaction, it's so good!

"I see your in a good mood"

I turned my head around to see Iida looking over my shoulder and peering into my face. I almost wobbled into him but he managed to catch me and he held my arm from behind. "This juice is really good! Try some!" As I hold out the carton for him, Iida's arm slid from my arm towards my hand. He held the hand that held my drink and I felt Iida press gently in my back. He leaned over and took a sip of my drink before smiling too.

"It really is wonderful, maybe we should by a crate for the class to share? Do you like that idea Midoriya?"

"That's sounds amazing Iida! You are so kind!"

I do a little hop in my toes as I smiled. Now others can drink this too! I'm pretty sure that familiars can drink this as a supplement so we can give our familiars the wonderful drink too.

Smiling more, I grabbed Iida's hand and we went back to the store to ask if we can buy a crate of my previous drink.

As we turned the corner, I let go of Iida's hand and was immediately thrown to the floor. My back didn't hurt though, I turned around to see Transform-oh... I looked up to see Toga straddling me with her bright red cheeks and a drunk look in her eyes. She was giggling and leaned down towards me...is she???...oh no she is...

Electric shocks spasmed through my body and I couldn't breathe...I feel like screaming...

"TOGA!!!" breathlessly, I gasped her name and tried to think straight,
"STOP TICKLING ME!!!"

I clutched my stomach and tried to stop my obnoxious giggling but a few escaped and I was reduced to a puddle as Toga finally stopped the torture. I took in deep breaths as the stitches in my stomach slowly faded away.

Calming down, I shuffled up and Toga got off me. Transform nuzzled my face as she helped me up and let me sit on her strong back. Her fur was short and soft despite the prickly look.

My body still thrummed from the tickling but I could move so I took Toga's hand and we went into the shop with Iida close behind. I asked for two crates of the juice and I gave a crate to Toga to bring to the rest of Shin's friends. Iida gave me another carton before offering to hand the drinks out to everyone. Although I said there was no need, he was insistent so I thought I might as well take a walk around myself.

Iida ran off so Toga I wandered through the shops. There were many from types like hairstyle shops to funny looking food stalls, to cheap stores filled with odd toys, to home deposits. We went to all four floors of the mall and had lots of fun, especially in the arcade on the third floor. Toga said that she had to go before she gets told off so she gave me another hug before running off. I bought a couple soft fluffy bread buns to nibble on as I walked and I was glad I did since I was peckish from all the walking around.

There was nothing else to see so I decided to head towards the nearby fruit market as I was told that the fruit that was in the drink was sold there, but before I got there, I heard a low growl...

I turned around to see, a whole group of familiars without partners... These must be 'strays' as Nezu calls them. They looked agressive and hostile and but I think it was because I took the wrong turn and ended up in their territory, in fact I think one of them is injured...

The one injured was a stray crocodile spirit with glaring eyes and lots of teeth, mouth open it growled at me. Before I could talk once we were properly connected, the crocodile spirit lunged at me.
