Chapter 47

Fire was spilling down the street as nomus spawned out of nowhere and every hero was fighting to save lives and rescue others. All hell broke loose as the world was thrown into panic.

Izuku sat in the centre of a fire, tears streaming down his porcelain face as he hugged his knees.

He was surrounded in familiars but he couldn't hear them.
His eyes were wide open in fear.
He couldn't move.
He couldn't function.

He broke.

All Might appeared to his left as he blew away two nomus that were trying to reach Izuku to save him under All for One's orders. All the nomus received one order.
Save the boy.

As All Might got in range of Izuku, he was jumped by more nomus and he had to smash them away. The nomu was slammed against the police car that held Tomura who was screaming at Decay to disintegrate everyone in his way.

The screaming stopped when the nomu hit the car full force and the sight made Izuku sick.

He knew it. He shouldn't have left the forest. He wasn't allowed to be near people. He always ended getting them killed...

He really should've known...

Why couldn't he take the hint?

He birth killed his father...
His first friend was injured from a forest fire his existence created.
His second friend stayed to give him company, only to leave for his sake.
His mother and grandmother were both killed with his existence....

Immense guilt tore at his flesh and his heart started to bleed in grief.

All Might and All for One were fully throwing fists at each other. Each blow was aimed for a knockout as both parties struggled to get to the small boy who sat whimpering.

The crying suddenly stopped as Izuku came across the thought that stopped all others.

He...he should've been the one to have died....

His mouth quivered as it slowly opened and out of nowhere, harpies appeared next to him. They were the ones that took shelter in his armband after he picked them up from the streets.

A screech tore through the city and more a moment, no one moved and silence reigned over them.

"Sorry"

All eyes looked towards the boy who was now standing up among the ruckus. A single stream of tears was flowing out of the corner of an eye but his cherry heart lips were pulled into a soft smile.

He looked over to the different people and familiars around him before giving a small chuckle. He waved at Bakugou and Tomura before turning around, and just... disappeared.

The familiars were thrown into the biggest frenzied state anyone has ever seen and they all started going on rampages. Giant ice sheets enclosed whole buildings and fire flooded the trees. Water came in tsunamis and pushed over entire prefectures as the winds blocked out all light as dark rainclouds gathered over the sky.

The whole world was thrown into a dark hopeless panic and there was nothing they could do about it. The familiars were going to destroy them all.

The civilians were all running around out of fright and the heroes were trying to sort out the crowds. The villains were all confused too and were helping out too. Everyone was backing each other up and they didn't know what to do. They only had one goal in mind.

Survive.

Among this chaos, a Selkie stood still and was unaffected by the screaming frenzy. She floated over to where the boy was last seen and a soft blue light emitted from her body. It slowly enveloped those around her calming them down instantly but also just knocking them out cold.

No one was able to get within the sphere and stay awake as she sadly sat by the place Izuku last stood.

Nezu, standing not so far away on an upturned lorry was commanding the familiarless heroes so they don't panic, got an idea. The Selkie were a way out of the frenzy...but she might end up putting the world to sleep...she seemed to have done that out of her own will so maybe the Chimera's were probably the same!

His mind wasn't able to think as fast as before but he was still one of the most intellectual beings around. He wasn't able to see why he had that thought but now was not the time to rely on logic. He needed to get people to locate the tribes....now.

As Bakugou fought, the blue light was getting closer and closer. He needed to find Deku but he didn't want to get knocked out.

"ATTENTION ALL" Nezu's voice rang out and the chaotic energy subsidised. There was less noise and people became slightly more aware of their surroundings. A rush of people trying to get away from the blue light made a clearing among the trouble. Bakugou was not alone as he stood in the cleared space.

Tomura was there too.

The two instinctively walked towards the light and when it struck them....the two passed right through...

They approached the crying Selkie who looked up at the two boys. Her eyes were sad but softened when they saw the recognisable calm smiles.

There was no communication but as both boys had spent tremendous time around the Selkie in childhood, they knew what to do.

The light then shone extremely bright and with a quick flash, everyone but those who have met Selkie fell asleep. The light spread across the world and an eerie silence took over. All the familiars were knocked out from their frenzy and almost every human was asleep too.

Class 1-A, the teachers, the villains and some heroes were the only ones awake... And the awkward silence was unbearable.

However the goal was obvious as they all looked towards each other and ran to get their belongings. They knew it wasn't going to be easy without their familiar's but they were going to save Izuku.

A/n Hi!!!! I'm sorry that I didn't post when I came back from my trip in Barcelona :(
I came back on such a happy vibe that I wasn't able to handle heartbreak which my personal life chucked at me. Chapters are going to be slow as I haven't gotten over my broken feelings and suicidal thoughts but I promise I will write chapters soon :)

Thank you for reading and I hope you understand the future delays 🖤
