Chapter 2 : Ready

" This is unacceptable, I reject what you are saying" Gun said to the person he was videocalling as he entered his apartment and switched on the lights.

A chuckle could be heard coming from Guns phone "I'm sorry Gun I would have loved to hang out with you," Jinsoo, Guns Korean friend, replied.

Gun had met Jinsoo a couple of years ago when he and his friends went to Korea for vacation. Jinsoo had been a friend of a friend who spoke Thai as he was the thai ambassador for the modeling company he worked for. With Jinsoos tall and slim build plus his handsome face, he was made for modeling.

They had hit it off and had kept in touch ever since. Gun always visited Jinsoo whenever he went to Korea and now he was saying that he will be in Australia when Gun visits Korea? Unacceptable!

"No Jinsoo you have to be there, who else am I going to go out with?!" Gun asked dejectedly as he slumped down on his soft leather couch.

"What about your partner, his name is Off right?" Jinsoo asked trying to make Gun feel better.

"Work partner yeah," Gun corrected him and closed his eyes. He could feel a headache coming on.

"Well go out clubbing with him then!" Jinsoo argued. The shit was probably trying to make himself feel better about not being there.

Gun sighed "Going out clubbing with Off sounds... really uncomfortable." Gun confessed.

"I thought you guys were friends though?" a hoot of a car could be heard in the background as Jinsoo asked him a question. Gun could see the night sky behind Jinsoo, he was probably standing on the roof in his apartment building. Gun had been to his apartment once. From the rooftop you could see the whole the of Busan plus a little bit of the ocean.

Jinsoo was lucky to have such a beautiful view, or rather he worked hard to have such a beautiful view. That was why Gun wasn't really mad at him for not being in Korea when Gun was going to be there. Jinsoo worked hard for what he had and Gun couldn't get in the way of that.That didn't stop Gun being sad and feeling frustrated about it though.

Gun sighed "We are friends, we are close but..you know how there's some friends you can go shopping with and some friends you can't go shopping with because all they do is whine the whole time, going out clubbing is the same. It wouldn't be fun with just us two." Gun tried to explain but he could already see Jinsoo rolling his eyes.

"Bullshit, you just don't know how to ask Off to be your wingman when you're trying to pick up some girls," Jinsoo said seeing right through Gun.

Contrary to belief Gun was straight, he had been mistaken his whole life for being Gay because of his small frame but that was not the case.

"How the hell do I even bring that up in conversation! Hey Off I haven't had sex in two years can you please help me get girls so I don't die from sexual frustration. Yeah that sounds normal" Gun rolled his eyes.

OK so maybe he might have possibly have ulterior motives for wanting Jinsoo to be there. Can't blame a guy for trying.

"Whoa it's been 2 years?" Jinsoo asked picking up on the wrong thing.

"That's not the point!" Gun shouted "And yes it has," He added in a whisper afterwards.

Gun was eternally grateful for his fans, without them he would never even dream of being where he is right now. But wow his fans were the biggest cockblockers ever! Everywhere he went there was always a Babii nearby with their camera ready to capture everything and anything. It meant that Guns sexual persuits had to be put on hold. He just never expected that it was going to be put on hold for 2 damn years!

"You never know maybe Off is just as sexually frustrated as you are, you could help each other get girls," Jinsoo suggested after a stunned silence. Gun scuffed. Although he never met any of Offs girlfriend before, he knows for a fact that Off has had a few girlfriends over the years, the lucky bustard.

" He's not, trust me, " Gun replied sounding sadder than necessary.

"How would you know, you can't know that," Jinsoo argued.

Gun shrug "I just do. I have to go Jinsoo, have to start packing"
Gun said accepting his fate. He was going to be alone and miserable for the rest of his life.

"Good go color coordinate your outfits, that always puts you in a better mood," Jinsoo teased making Gun chuckle. "When I'm back we can plan something ok?" Gun nodded.

"Bye bye na khap" Gun waved.

"Bye bye" Jinsoo responded before he hang up.

Gun continued sitting on his couch feeling dejected and opened the TV to create some background noise. He went scrolling through his Twitter and saw that #OFFGUNKOREAFM was trending. This made his mood a bit better. Although Babii were the cause of his troubles they were also always the ones that could raise his spirits.
He went through his Kakaotalk app and answered all the messages there.

As usual there was a message from Joss. 'Goodnight na Gun'. Joss was always sending Gun goodnight and good morning texts. At first Gun assumed that it was just Joss' friendly nature but after confirming from the rest of his friends that Joss does in fact not send them Goodnight texts Gun started getting a little suspicious. But there's no way Joss would like Gun that way so Gun never really put that much thought into it and just usually replied as he did that day 'Goodnight Khap'

There was also a text from Off 'Should we wear pink at this FM?' Gun rolled his eyes. Always about work with him, imagine going out with Papi, he would end up talking about work the whole damn night.

Gun had needs goddammit that needed to be for filled or else he might accidentally go humping Papi in his sleep when they were going to be sharing a room! Gun chuckled, can you imagine that even happening?
