Gun groaned as he felt the sun on his face. Who the hell had opened his curtains! He hadn't spent so much money on his heavy dark Grey sun blocking curtains just so he could have his beauty sleep ruined by the God damn sun!
Gun groaned and stretched out his left arm to reach his phone on his night stand at the same time as he opened his eyes stretching out his legs. That's when Gun noticed two things.
One he wasn't in his room, he was on a bed that had cold metal bars on either side that his arm had come into contact with, surrounded by dozens of flowers and balloons in what seemed like a hospital room. Two there was an old guy standing next to his bed stretched over Gun with a small torch in his hand looking down shocked at Gun.
"Oh, you're up earlier than I expected," The man said as he withdrew back and switched off his torch. "I'm Dr. Zee, you had a slight concussion-"
"Joss punched me!" Gun said interrupting the man and sitting up as all his memories came flooding back to him. That little shit had punched Gun!
"Yeah and he's lucky he's still alive right now," Gun heard a quiet voice say. The voice came from the other side of his bed. Gun turned towards the source of the voice and saw Papi calmly seated in a chair on the other side of the bed Gun was laying on with his legs and arms crossed, staring right at Gun. Gun's face immediately fell once he saw Papi and he blankly looked at Papi with a cold hard stare. Papi looked back at Gun with an equally cold look which shocked Gun a little.
Gun decided to ignore Papi and turned back to look at the doctor who was busy scribbling on his chart, he would deal with Papi later. "Sorry, you said you're Dr Zee right?" Gun shyly asked.
"Yes!" Dr Zee said enthusiastically as he looked up from his charts. "Like I was saying you're in Praram 9 Hospital right now , your boyfriend brought you in this morning while you were unconscious. He kept screaming up a ruckus until someone finally assisted you and he hasn't left your side since. He even made a couple of the nurses cry when he shouted at them for not checking up on you like they were supposed to," Dr Zee chuckled like what he had just said was extremely funny.
Gun just impassively carried on listening to the doctor, refusing to look at Papi or even acknowledge him even after hearing that Papi had been so frantic when he brought him to the hospital. Gun couldn't care less about how Papi had reacted.
"You've suffered from a concussion due to blunt force trauma, you've only been at the hospital for 6 hours, I was expecting you to only wake up tomorrow. Nothing else seems to be the matter but we're still going to keep you overnight just to make sure everything is okay and to run further tests to check you haven't suffered from any brain damage. I doubt you did but this is still a necessary precaution. I'll come check up on you tomorrow before I discharge you and if you need anything just let the nurses know. That shouldn't be an issue however since you have your little boyfriend at your command," Dr Zee said with a friendly smile and nudged his head towards Papi with a friendly wink.
Gun couldn't get why the doctor kept calling Papi his boyfriend, Papi wasn't nor would he ever be Gun's boyfriend. Gun could feel the fatigue creeping back into him however so he didn't have the energy to correct the doctor, he simply just returned the doctor's friendly smile.
"The nurses will wake you up every 3 hours during the night, it's to make sure your state hasn't deteriorated so please just bear with them," Dr Zee carried on to explain.
"It's fine I'll wake him up," Papi said from where he was still seated. Gun didn't bother looking at him and just carried on looking at the doctor. His eyes were getting heavier however and he had to fight the sleep that suddenly wanted to overcome him.
