Anastasia's P.o.V.-
After picking up Lucas and helping him with the groceries up, I head upstairs and get ready. I have absolutely no idea what to wear and it is killing me. I almost go downstairs to ask Lucas for his opinion but I am not that brave. So I decide on my favorite sundress from Aeropostale, It of course is my favorite color so I easily pick it. I slip on some white converse and fix my hair. I put on some blush and mascara and earrings before going back downstairs. I try not to make eye contact with Lucas as I walk down the stairs, being extra careful not to trip. I see his mouth drop into an "o". I feel my cheeks go hot, dammit.
"Wow." he says with a smile.
I blush even harder.
"You look stunning." he says still staring.
"Why thank you." I say while drfting off the last step.
I then bust out into dance moves and yell lets get this party started. I am such an embarassment to humanity. I need a drink. Lucas goes to the bathroom and I take a mini bottle of rum from my parents mini fridge and chug it quickly. I throw the bottle away careful not to let Lucas see. I automatically feel the affects of the liquid that just burned in my throat.
"Well it is almost eight already, people should be on their way." I say to Lucas as he enters the room.
"Chill, they will show soon. I wouldnt mind if they didnt anyways." He smiles.
Before I can respond the doorbell rings. I rush to the door and see Connor with tons of others behind him. I let them all in while running over to plug in the giant karoake machine. I dim the lights and let the disco lights blast from the machine. Soon there are so many people I can barely move. I lost Lucas a while back and dont have any effort to try and find him. So I make my way to the back porch for some fresh air. There isn't anyone else out here to my knowledge. I hear a rattling noise behind me then I voice that made my arms get goosebumps.
A/N: sorry for the rushed sloppy chapters lately but i am just so excited to release parts 1-25 this week (9-11-19) !! these next few chapters are going to be very important to the storyline so pay close attention, and excuse any mispelled words or lack of punctuation. much love <3
