Already mentioned, the Battle had begun and Hazrat e Hurr was killed. It was now the turn of the Companions of Hussain Ibn Ali. There were- -Old like Habib Ibn Mazahir -Young newly married like Wahab e Kalbi -African slaves like Jaun -Noblemen like Zuhayr Al Qayn. They are were from different backgrounds but they had one thing in common.. THE LOVE FOR HUSSAIN IBN ALI.
On the night of 9th Muharram, Shab e Ashoor.. Imam Hussain(as) addressed his army and asked them to leave happily because he knew this will lead to their DEATHS. And not even a single soul left Imam Hussain! Infact, They were eager to sacrifice their lives and save Islam..
WHAT NEXT? After Hurr's death, There came Jaun, an African slave who stood against Yazid's army. He fought bravely until he fell from his horse. Hussain Ibn Ali was really moved by Jaun's martyrdom. He was equal to him as his son, Ali Akbar. After Jaun, it was time for Wahab Ibn Kalbi.
Wahab Ibn Kalbi, who just got married a few days back. WHAT MADE HIM JOIN THE ARMY? AFTERALL, WHO WANTS TO DIE SO SOON? It was his love for Allah, His Prophet and Ahlulbayt which made him join the army. He also fought bravely until he fell from the horse and died.
WHO WAS NEXT? Habeeb Ibn Mazahir. One of Imam Ali's companions and best friend of Imam Hussain(as). Upon receiving a letter from Hussain Ibn Ali, this 75 years old man never resisted to join Imam Hussain(as) in Karbala. AGED 75!REALLY..?

Yeah, despite being old he fought like a Hero and killed more than 60 army men of Yezid. You know? All the martyrs of Karbala had their heads cut off but Habib's head was the only one tied to a horse and pulled along the land of Karbala.. Such was the cruelty of Yezid and his Army.
OH, THEN? It was now the turn of Zuhayr Al Qayn. Initially he was against Imam Ali but after a meeting with Imam Hussain(as), he became one of the most noble companion of Hussain Ibn Ali. The battle was going on and now it was time for prayers. Zuhayr Al Qayn along with Abdallah Al Hanafi protected Syed us Shohda and his army while they offered namaz on the deserted land of Karbala. He was the one who bravely stood as a barrier between the PERFORMERS OF SALAH AND MOCKERS OF ISLAM.
After the prayers, Zuhayr Al Qayn fought with Yezid's army. He fearlessly faced the battle and killed many. At last, he was attacked with a spear and he breathed his last too... All of Syed us Shohda's companions are buried at Ganj e Shahedaan. A place inside Imam Hussain's present shrine at Karbala.
