Now let us know about the young martyrs of Karbala. The children of Hussain's family-Aun O Mohammad(Sons of Bibi Zainab sa), Qasim(Son Of Imam Hasan) and Ali Akbar(Son of Imam Hussain).

CHILDREN? WHY DID THE MOTHERS OF KARBALA LET THEIR CHILDREN IN KARBALA?
They knew Hussain Ibn Ali was on the right path and their sacrifices would help save Islam.

It was the day of Ashoora, 10th Muharram, when Hamshabih e Paighambar(Image of the Holy Prophet)-Ali Akbar gave the Adhan. The Adhan which made everyone cry.. For it was the last Adhan of his life.
The battle had begun and already mentioned Ansar e Hussain had sacrificed their lives. Who was next?(Note-There are many citations citing different order of deaths of Husain's family)
AUN O MOHAMMAD.
WHO WERE THEY?
Grandsons of Hazrat Ali and Jaffer e Tayyar, these children never feared and fought courageously during the battle. Such that Umr Ibn Saad demanded to attack them seperately with arrows, swords and spears from all sides.
How much can 2 young thirsty children take?
At last.. They fell from their horses and sent Salam to their uncle, Hussain. Hussain Ibn Ali rushed towards them and bought their dead bodies back to the camp. Ah! All the women cried except for ONE. Their mother, Bibi Zainab.
You know why?
She thanked Allah for accepting her sons' sacrifices. Look at the spirit of Bibi Zainab!

Hussain was already heartbroken. Ah! There were more sufferings to come. The biggest sacrifice of his Life, The Martydom of his 18 year old son, ALI AKBAR.
Can you Imagine? A teenage son comes to his old father for permission to die. This was the condition of Hussain-Heartbroken and Helpless.
Ali Akbar mounted his horse and rode to the battlefield. But wait, what made him stop?

An old man, with tearful eyes looked at him from a corner with a HOPE. It was Hussain Ibn Ali.
Akbar stopped. Hussain said, "O Akbar, promise me you will keep on looking back to your old father." Ah! How hard it is to imagine the departing of a father and his young son.
Akbar fought bravely and came back to his father saying, "Baba! Look, My grandfather Ali, must be so proud.I've killed many soldiers of Yazid."
Hussain felt so poor for he was not able to give even a drop of water to him.
Akbar went back to the battlefield and continued his fight.
Alas! Hussain hears Akbar's cry.
He rushed to the battlefield. But what? He nearly lost his eyesight and balance. He rose from the ground and fell, he rose again and fell again on the hot sand of Maidan e Karbala. Ya Allah! May no father have occasion to see his young son in such a condition!

Alas! He sees Hamshabih e Karbala lying in a pool of blood. Murrah Ibn Munqad(Haseen Ibn Nameer-Confirmation needed) had just attacked Akbar with a spear. Such that the spear got stuck into his chest. (Extra point-The place where he was attacked is still preserved-Maqam e Ali Akbar at Karbala)
Allahu Akbar! Poor Hussain.. His son is battling for life and he could do nothing.
He placed Akbar's head on his lap and gently pulled the spear from his chest.
Ah! Ali Akbar breathed his last and died in his father's lap..

In the history of Karbala, it was only on the arrival of Ali Akbar's body that all the people from Hussain's caravan cried out so loudly
