"I can't wait to see you." He says through the phone. My heart lifted with joy, knowing I was going to see my boyfriend of 2 years in only a matter of hours was enough to make me squeal with excitement. He had gone to school in Australia almost 6 months ago and I missed him greatly.

"I love you Brody." I said with a smile playing at my lips.

"I love you too. Have a safe flight babe." He said before hanging up. I sat in the boarding area, waiting for the plane to be ready to board. There were a lot of people flying from Vancouver British Columbia to Australia than I thought there would be. I hoped for a window seat, I loved looking out over the mountains of my beautiful province.

"Could all families with small children and people with special assistance please board flight 434." A voice said over the announcing system. I remained seated and watched as only 1 family boarded with a small boy who seemed to be at only the age of 3 or 4. The lack of small children pleased me, there was nothing worse than being stuck on a plane with crying babies everywhere.

"Anyone with seat rows 17-26 please board the flight." The announcer said. I looked at my ticket, row 22 A. I got up and walked down the little isle leading straight to the entrance of the plane. I was greeted by a pretty flight attendant with curly brown hair. I gave her a quick smile as I went to find my seat. As soon as I found it I threw my carry on bag into the overhead carrier and sat down. I watched as people all around me finding their seats; I hoped with all my heart that it wasn't an annoying weirdo who had the seat next to mine. Soon a tall lanky boy with blonde and blue hair looked down at me, then down at the seat next to me before he sat down in it. I recognized him, he was the lead singer of that band half my friends were obsessed over. My face fell into a scowl, great just what I needed! An arrogant star, with people everywhere probably bothering him for pictures the entire flight. I leaned back into my seat, getting ready for a very long, very annoying flight.
As soon as everyone was seated, the pretty flight attendant picked up the little phone that spoke over the announcing system. She began to do the regular speech every flight attendant makes before each flight, and like everyone else, I ignored her.

The plane was in the air in no time, leaving the same butterfly feeling in my stomach I always got when the plane first leaves the ground. I watched out the window as my beloved city grew smaller and smaller. I pulled my iPod out of my pocket and put one headphone in, blasting Dance, dance by Fall Out Boy.

"Would you mind closing the window?" A male voice beside me said.

"Excuse me?" I said as if he had just insulted me.

"Can you close the window? I'm feeling a bit sick and the view out there isn't helping much." He said.

"I happen to think the views beautiful. I requested the window seat for a reason." I protested.

"I never said that the view wasn't pretty, but the heights is making my sick feeling worse. Of course if you like having barf all over your shoes then go ahead and leave it open." He said with a raised eyebrow. I gave him a disgusted look before closing the little blind on my window.

"Thank you." He said happily.

"Whatever." I said, crossing my arms.

"Someone's in a bad mood." He tisked.

"Yeah well when someone's forced to sit beside a self absorbed celebrity, who can't even enjoy the nature around him, it makes someone a bit mad." I said bitterly.

"Ha! You could hardly call me a celebrity and I'm feeling sick, I thought I already explained this to you." He sighed.

"Right, so you're not going to Australia for a tour then?" I asked in disbelief. He remained quiet.

"That's what I thought." I huffed.

"Just because I'm touring doesn't mean that I'm a celebrity. Tons of non famous bands go on tour..." He pointed out.

"Right okay." I rolled my eyes.

"So then why are you going to Australia?" He asked curiously.

"I'm visiting my boyfriend if you must know." I said flatly.

"Poor guy." Josh laughed jokingly.

"Excuse you! You're being rather rude right now." I said, appalled.

"Good, now we're even." He said with a wink.

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"You were rude first princess."

"Sure, whatever you say diva." I snapped. To my surprise Josh laughed lightly. I ignored him by plugging my headphones into my iPod and tuning everything out. Soon enough I had dozed off, in a dreamless sleep.

I was awoken by someone grabbing my shoulder and shaking me vigorously. I opened my eyes only to see none other than Josh Ramsay, of course. I ripped my headphones out of my ear and glared at him.

"What?!" I said, sounding annoyed. That's when I felt the plane drop, and it wasn't just any old drop, it was a dramatic swoop downwards that sent my stomach straight up past my head. The seatbelt button flashed on and I heard the murmurs of concerned people all around me.

"Something's happening, the planes been doing this whole drop thing a lot, I'm surprised you didnt wake up." Josh explained. I saw the pretty flight attendant pick up the phone,

"Attention passengers, please keep your seatbelts on, there is nothing to worry about everyone keep calm and relax. We will be in Australia in no time!" The flight attendant said cheerfully. Then the plane dropped again only this time the impact was so great the it sent the pretty flight attendant straight into the ceiling of the plane. There were panicked cries from everyone.

"What's going on?" I asked in worry. Josh looked at me, fear written all over his face.

"I think the engines are failing." Josh said frantically.
