Reconciliation (Viggo X Reader)

Prologue

The gang and I were on our way back to the edge. We had just rescued the twins and discovered Viggo's newest plan:

Project Shellfire.

To be honest, it scared me. A ship made entirely of dragon proof metal was a very serious obstacle for us and would surely force it's victims.

And it showed clearly, that Viggo was extremely despaired. Why else should he reach out to such drastic measures to get rid of Hiccup, when he usually tried to stay somewhat witty and civilized in his methods? Project Shellfire built on brute strength and overpowering.
It was the complete opposite of Viggo's nature.

Which meant that things were about to go down and turn worse real quickly.

Someone needs to stop this! Someone has to do something!

The only way to stop this madness, that doesn't include eliminating each other, would be a peace treaty. But that sadly seemed to be impossible, with how the fractions imagined the peace to be like.

Berk wished for Viggo to stop the dragon hunting business, which was impossible, because it's his main source of income and he needs to make a living somehow as well.

Viggo wished for Berk to stop interfering with his business, which was also impossible, because we simply couldn't stay back and watch people mistreat dragons.

In fact, I'm even questioning us: Do we even have the right to put our way to view dragons over everyone else's and force people into accepting it?

Sure, I'm against hurting and killing dragons for wealth, but I'm also against ruining people's lives just because they have a different perspective.

What we need is a compromise. An alternative business for Viggo, that we can accept.

Okay, I've made up my mind! I'll be the one, who makes the first step to make peace between our tribes possible...
