Hello everyone!

I just wanted to quickly let you guys know, that this book is sadly still discontinued. I just felt the random motivation and inspiration to write another chapter for it, since I felt this book deserved an update at least once every blue moon. ^^; I can't promise if there are going to be more chapters coming in the near future though.

That's actually all I've got for now, so I hope you'll enjoy Chapter 7!

It didn't take long for Viggo and me to finish our meal. However we weren't the first.

The musicians actually beat us to it and went to the stage and soon began to play. And just a couple minutes after that... The party was full on going.

Drunk vikings (however on earth they managed to get drunk already) gathered in the dancing area and, well... danced.

People started to chat and mingle, the occasional laugh about a random joke was heard and overall everyone seemed.... happy.

I smiled subconsciously, while watching them all. However I couldn't help but to feel increasingly uneasy as things progressed to get louder.

There was something about loud surroundings, that I just disliked.I wasn't scared of it or anything, just not very fond of it. I knew that being all out and about at a loud, big party felt rewarding to many people, but to me it was a little...

Overwhelming? Yeah, pretty sure that was it.

Anyways, Viggo rose to his feet and picked up our bowls to kindly return them to the 'dirty dishes' section at the buffet. Before he left however, I stretched out my arm for him, even though it was too short to actually reach him.

It did make him pause though and he turned back to face me, a questioning look in his eyes.

"Viggo... I know the celebration just started, but... I'll be going outside for a bit to get some fresh air if that's okay?" I asked shyly.

A warm and understanding smile crept onto his lips. "It's quite alright, dear. You've been inside for the entire second half of the negotiations, the air here must feel stuffy you."

"Yeah, the air- Totally." I chuckled and glanced to the side, twirling a strand of hair between my fingers.

"Just one thing?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

"Where will I be able to find you outside?"

"Oh" I let my hand fall to my side. "There's a couple benches just outside the great hall. If you walk down the stairs and look to the right you can't miss it."

Viggo nodded. "Alright. I'll catch you later then." He smiled one last time at me and turned around, walking of with our bowls.

I watched him disappear in the crowd before getting up myself and sneaking towards the exit without anyone noticing.

I'm an introvert at heart. I know how to escape parties.
