Laxh arrived back at the castle later that evening. "Did you get the sample?" Axel said as he stepped out from behind the stairs. "It took you long enough. You're officially the worst delivery girl I've ever hired."
"A simple 'thank you' would suffice." Laxh tossed the cloth to him, and Axel caught it.
"Smile, you managed to keep yourself in one piece." He pinched her cheek. "Thanks, squirt." She yanked away.
"Don't touch me, don't call me squirt."
Axel smirked. "I out rank you, I'll call you whatever comes to mind."
"Yes, sir." Laxh said the last word with complete distaste and left Axel standing there. Axel rubbed the back of his head and smiled.
"See you tomorrow, squirt."
