"What?! Why do I gotta babysit the new girl?" Axel complained as Saix rolled his eyes. "What do you want me to do? Wipe the drool off her chin?"

Saix cleared his throat. "Come now, Axel. She's well out of the drooling stage. You are not babysitting her, just showing her the ropes."

Axel grunted and turned to face his un-wanted partner. "A word of advise," he leaned close to her and gritted his teeth. "Stay out of my way." Laxh, with her hood still up, nodded.

In the attic of Beast's Castle, the two entered through a dark corridor. "So missions are, well, missions. When you receive orders, ya fill them out. Simple as that. Any questions?"

Laxh kept silent and looked at her surroundings. She stared at Axel and then at the various crates and boxes.

Axel seemed to read her mind. "What, those? We're in an attic, these must belong to the people who live downstairs."

Laxh flipped her hood back. "Is it acceptable behavior to loot such belongings?"

"No!" He glared at her newly revealed face and saw a deep scar in-between her deep green eyes. "How did you get that?"

Laxh grimaced. "That's none of your business. So if we're done here, let's get this mission over with."

Axel stepped back from her. "With pleasure." A cruel smile danced on his lips. "Try not to get trampled under-foot."

The Heartless loomed before them, and Axel cracked his neck. "You ready for this, girly-girl?"

                    "Bring it."

The Shadows tugged into the open and flung themselves at the two. Axel threw his ckakram whistling through the air and jumped to catch it when it came back like a boomerang. Laxh yanked her battle-axe out of nowhere and slashed at some Heartless to her left. Axel landed on his feet like a cat, and spun a bolt of fire around the growing hoard.

"Hey Lash, wanna play a game?"

"This is no time for stupidity, Axel."

"It's a fun game. It's called Last One Still Fighting For Their Life Loses."
