Laxh smiled as she listened to the thunder roll. Lightning streaked across the sky. Rain drenched her coat and brown hair, but it didn't matter. Axel was waiting. Laxh held her head high and looked over The Court-yard of Beast's Castle. She smiled, crying tears of bliss.
"Soon," she said to no one in particular. "We'll both have hearts." Laxh sighed. She stood back from the edge, summoned up all her courage, and jumped.

((Okay, so I'm going to level with y'all. I know this is horrible. I did such a poor job portraying Axel and writing the beginning chapters. I may not actually continue writing this even after KH 3 comes out. I've practically started over from scratch with Character Box. If you feel as unsatisfied as I am with this rendering of my Kingdom Hearts fanfiction, feel free to pop over to my profile and switch to that. It's different in that it's not completely Kingdom Hearts, but I feel like I've grasped Axel personality traits better in that one and it's got more romance. :3 Thanks for reading this far.
