December 5th, 2019

It was the day of the dance. I really wasn't feeling it at all, but i'm going to have a good time, and i'm not going to think about anything and dance till my legs break off.

At least, that's how it should be either way. I stared back at me, trying my hardest to smile even though it's been rough these past months.  My red lips, bold and bright was the first thing you could notice when you looked at me.

Then my dress, a perrie winkle blue, I could only imagine how Vincent would think if i was in this dress and his hands were wrapped around my waist as we slow danced to slow songs, but that won't happen for awhile. But i have Dean.

"Quinn! Your friend is here!" my mother shouted from downstairs. I stopped daydreaming, and grabbed my white purse and left the room, i skipped downstairs to see Dean awaiting, in a white tux and his hair all curly.

On the right of his arm he carried my corsage. A white rose. I glanced at him smiling gracefully. "you look amazing!" he awed. "thank you, you look handsome too!" i didn't want to ruin this night with my petty emotions when i see Vincent and his new girlfriend waltz on the dance floor while i'm trying my best to even come here.

"should we go?" he asked and i nodded." wait! i want to get a picture of you two!" my mom says, she runs to her room and grabs her camera." I'm sorry about this, were probably going to be late," i say and he shrugs." it's no biggy, we won't be late it'll be one picture." he chuckles and my mom comes back out.

"okay guys, say cheese!" she takes a picture and she smiles gracefully. "got it! you guys have fun!" she giggles still looking at the camera. Dean opens the door for me, and i thank him walking to the car with these heels piercing through my skin.

I await for his arrival as he opens my door and i smile at him, " a gentlemen!" and i climb in. We drive to school and head to the gym, where the dance is. We turn in our ticket and before i could walk in i hesitate.

"is something wrong?" he asks. I look at him, as he looked worried. Dean may not know everything that happened but at least he cared. "no, let's just have some fun!" i responded.

we strolled inside, while people danced and were sitting down, laughing with their friends and taking pictures at the photo booth."wow these are alot of people!" i uttered.

"yeah it is, but hey don't think about it too much, do you want to dance?" he asked sticking out his hand. "but what about Zamoria and Hunter?" i questioned.

"they maybe running late, we can't wait for them forever," He let go of my hand and he danced his way into the crowd, shaking his shoulders and i looked around to see all the people laughing and screaming, having fun. Maybe this was a bad idea. I backed away slowly, and bumped into Vincent's girlfriend.

"Oh my gosh hey! you look so gorgeous! i didn't know you were coming!" she smiled like if she was faking it, i know she was and she didn't want me here."you should dance with us!" she offered and couldn't say anything, Vincent look ashamed as always.

"i would love to- but"   "she's with me," Dean says and grabs my hand. Vincent looks down feeling guilty. "oh, i didn't know you two were dating- i thought you'd still be stuck on vincent," she giggled like if out situation was a game, a comedy; something to laugh at.

I squinted my eyes because i now know that she wasn't being nice, but sarcastic. I know sarcasim when i hear it bitch, i invented it. "were not dating." I crossed my arms and i was already fed up with this, i rolled my eyes and she noticed. "It was just an assumption, don't get upset about it." she chuckled and i grabbed Dean and we both walked away.
