Prepare for bad writing my dudes

Of course it starts with the hurricane chapter

Pure salt's POV

It was about 4 a.m. and I was wide awake. I awoke after a nightmare about him. I was back stuck at his house after my parents died. I was back to the abuse. Back to the pain.
I was almost happy when I woke up seeing it was only a dream. I groaned and sat up in the dark room before finally getting up.

Despite my roommates being asleep I went to the living room to watch tv so I wouldnt be stuck in the silence. I grabbed a can of pringles and some pocky before cuddling up on the couch in my warm blanket as I turned on gravity falls.

A soft knock on the door was heard only a few minutes after I turned on the tv. I checked how much of a mess I was and decided it was enough to make the person think I just got up. I turned the tv off and walked to the door.

It only just then hit me someone was knocking at my door. At four fucking am. Despite the time I went to check who was at the door. I gasped when I opened it revealing someone who looked even worse than I did. As his eyes landed on me his face turned red.

"Alexander?"

"A-aaron Burr, s-sir..."

It was clear he had been sobbing just a few minutes ago. I just stood there not knowing what to do. The eyes that once burned with passion now dull and puffy. His hair was tied in a messy ponytail and the bags under his eyes where much more visable than before.

"Would you like to come inside?"

I gave him a soft smile as he walked inside and talked quietly so Thomas and James wouldnt wake up.

"What brings you here at this time, Alexander?"

I gave him a box of tissues and sat down next to him on the couch.

"I- um- Th-"

Just then thunder boomed from outside and Alexander jumped, hiding in my side and clinging to me like his life depended on it.

I had no clue what to do. It was obvious he had been through some shit. I tried rubbing circles into his back to calm him down only for more thunder to boom outside.

He cuddles more into me and I felt my shirt starting to get wet. Thats when I realised he was crying again. I turned the tv up a bit so the thunder couldn't be heard as loud. I grabbed a few of the tissues and wiped his eyes. When I looked into his eyes he looked scared. Terrified even. But I also saw something else. I wasnt quite sure what.

It seemed like Alexander calmed down a bit to where he realised what had been happening.

"I-Im sorry"

He sounded broken. I hated seeing the once passionate and loud boy being so... so....

Hurt.

"Alexander you have nothing to apologize for."

I looked him in the etes and offered a gentle smile. He stared at me before talking again.
