"eMMA I SWEAR TO GOD-"
Alexander yelled and chased after his dog, Emma. She had chewed through her leash again and was off just like that.
Alexander could feel himself growing tired and his legs were starting to hurt but he wasnt about to lose his dog so he continued running.
Alexander sped up when he saw Emma slowing down. He was about to catch her she was right there-
A loud crash was heard as Alexander tripped over a rock and realised too late he was going head first into the sidewalk. Alexander immediately got up despite the pain and looked around for Emma. She was no where in sight.
Alexander sunk to the ground realising he might never see his dog again. Just when he felt tears about to fall he heard a series of barks. He got up and ran as fast as he could to where he thought he heard the barks.
He turned the corner and found...
Emma!
...who just so happened to be barking at a surprised Aaron Burr who had been backed into the corner by the german shepherd.
"eMMA HOLY SHHHH-"
He found himself trailing off as he looked at Aaron. You see Alexander had realized a few days ago he was head over heels for the shorter boy. This isnt exactly how Alex wanted to ask him out butttt-
"Hamilton. Your dog."
Alexander blinked before realizing he was staring at Aaron. Alexander blushed and turned away before grabbing his dog.
"Holy shit Burr im so soory she got away and i spent so long chasing after her and I triped and I swear I didnt-"
Alexander rambled before he was cut off.
"You do know both your forehead and your lip are bleeding right?"
Alexander felt his face heat up and he honestly wanted to curl up and die. He looked back at Aaron and immediately regretted it because he about melted at Aarons dorky smile.
"Oh uh- I guess I was just to worried to care or notice heh"
Alexander smiled at Aaron before Emma started barking again.
"Here come with me my apartment isnt that far from here."
Aaron grabbed Alexanders hand and smiled kindly at him before walking in the direction of his apartment. Alexander tried to hold hands with Aaron and hoped he wouldnt notice. Aaron either had no clue or didnt say anything about it.
Eventually the two came up to a small apartment and Aaron let go of Alexanders hand to open the door.
The second Alexander and Emma were inside Aaron shut the door.
"yAY A-A-RONS BAC-"
Aarons roommate literally screamed before cutting himself off.
"Jefferson."
"Hamilton."
The two had a stare down before Aaron spoke up.
"Could you guys just like stop being yourselves for two mintes."
He took a breath before calling out to someone down a hall.
"James can you get me like a washcloth or something?"
Aaron grabbed Alexanders wrist again and took him up to his room.
Aaron told Alexander to wait there as he ran back downstairs. While Aaron was gone Alexander looked around the room.
He wasnt sure what he was expecting but a load of musical posters, drawing stuff, about 4 empty wine glasses, two chinchillas, and l o t s of purple wasnt really it. He was still looking around the room when Aaron came back.
"Yeah my rooms a mess I know."
Aaron said sitting down next to Alex. Aaron softly started to clean the blood of Alexanders face with a wet washcloth. Alexander could tell Aaron was trying to be as gentle as possible. Cute.
"How can you deal with it?"
"Hmm?"
"Being Jeffershits roommate"
Aaron let out a soft laugh and Alexander wanted nothing more than to cuddle up to Aaron and protect him from the world.
"Eh you get used to him. Hes may be an asshole but hes my friend so I have to deal with him"
Alexander remained quiet (g a s p) and pet a now sleeping Emma while Aaron contines to wipe the blood off. When Aaron finished he smiled at Alex again before talking.
"Would you like anything to eat or drink? We dont have much but after running after your dog so long you probably need it."
"What do you have?"
"I would show you but Rich attacks people he doesnt know"
"Rich?"
Aaron started laughing before talking again.
"Sorry thats what Thomas named his bird. I swear theres not some random dude named Rich that lives here."
Alexander thinks he heard Aaron mumble something along the lines of 'we dont want any fires' but hes not sure.
They talked for a few more minutes before Aaron went downstairs to get snacks for them.
Aarons comes back after a few minutes and sets the snacks down on the bed. Aaron sighed and Alexander looked over at him. Alex was about to say something but Aaron beat him to it.
"H-hey uh will y-you um- like maybestaythenightIdontknow"
Alexander chuckled
"English please"
Aaron took a breath.
"Will you stay the night Alex?"
Aaron refused to meet Alexanders gaze but Alex could see the blush on his cheeks. Alexander smiled.
"Sure!"
He said before kissing Aarons cheek and opening a chip bag. Aarons face heated up more as he realized what just happened.
Alexander fell back onto the bed before talking again.
"You got Netflix A-A-ron?"
"1. Dont call me that and 2. Yeah"
Aaron said picking up the roku remote.
"Aww come on Jefferson got to call you it"
"Thats because i know I cant stop him.
Alex chuckled before pulling Aaron back on the bed with him. Aaron let out a small sqeek and his face started heating up again.
"I cant put something on the tv like this Alexander"
Aaron mumbled trying to avoid eye contact.
"Aw you're no funnnn"
Alexand said before letting go of Aaron.
The two spent the rest of the night watching whatever they could find that they could make fun of. The two grew closer and before they knew it it was about 2:30. They realized they should probably try to get to sleep (aka Aaron begging Alexander to just go to sleep already). They curled up on the shit mattress and Alexander put his arms around Aaron not realising it. He was about to pull away but he noticed how Aaron didnt really seem to care. He pulled Aarons back into him not caring anymore. He kissed the side of Aaron head and drifted off to sleep.
Aaron had never felt better.
Until Emma started barking at 4 am.
i didnt look over this so there are probably a lot of mistakes
