Aaron hated this. Hated himself. Hated his mind. Hated his view of the world.

He almost felt numb. He knew tears were in him eyes but they didnt fall. They never did.

He was trapped in his own mind. He wanted so desperately to escape. He wanted to live a good life. He wanted to be happy. He wanted that perfect world he had dreamed of so many times.

Aaron wasnt stupid though. He knew that wasnt going to happen. He knew he would have to work towards that. He wanted to work towards that. He wanted to do all he can ro reach that perfect world but he knew he couldnt.

Hes aware at how pitiful he must look. He knows that the sight of him curled up in an oversized sweatshirt with tears in his eyes was just plain sad.

He just wanted it to end. He wanted his brain to stop. He wanted his anxiety and depression to just go away. He wanted to live a normal life. He wants to know what life is like for people who are fortunate enough to be happy.

He thought back to every time he had messed up that day. Many of those times was when he just tried to speak. Tried to be included. Tried to be noticed.

Aaron knew he was always that one person no one really noticed. He knew how everyone knows his name and his face but no one knew who he was. No one knew why he was there. What he belived in. What he enjoys.

Aaron knew that was his fault. He likes it better this was though. No one hates him for who he is. No one bugs him about his beliefs or opinions.

God just the word made Aaron hate himself all that much more. The way one sentence can change a persons opinions of you. He knows this is stupid. He knows his fears are stupid and illogical but knowing that doesnt make them go away.

He just wanted someone to know him. When they think Aaron Burr they think of him not the person he has built himself as.

He thought that shielding his real self off would mean no one could hurt him off who he was because well no one knew him.

That all changed as soon as he came along.

Aaron hated the way the man had everyone wrapped around his finger. Aaron hated the way this man could win anyone over. Aaron hated the way that he had gotten Aaron trapped in his little game.

Aaron was falling hard for the man and Aaron knew that. He also knew it would lead to his downfall. One simple word slipped from the mans mouth could cause Aaron to have a panic attack. Aaron knew this man could probably push Aaron over altogether.

Aaron thought back to earlier that day.

Aaron and the man, Alexander Hamilton, had got in a fight. It started as just shooting some words back and forth. Alexander only got more pissed as Aaron remained calm. He soon started yelling at the slightly shorter male without even looking at him. He continued this for about 5 minutes without looking at Aaron. Only when he heard Aaron get up had he looked back. He just barely caught the tears going down Aaron face before Aaron left.

Aaron cringed at himself. You had to cry over being yelled at? What are you fucking 6? He mentally screamed at himself. He knew that wouldnt help anything so he just continued to let his mind run as he curled up on the ground more.

Maybe 2 minutes past maybe 2 hours passed but Aaron couldnt tell either way. He heard someone walk up to his office and immediately started panicing. The person knocked three times before silence took over. He didnt know what to do except hope it was just James or Thomas.

Nope.

"Hey uh Burr-"

Aaron froze as he heard the voice on the other side of the door. He didnt know what to do. Should he open to the door? Should he stay quiet and hope Alexander thinks he left? His thoughts were soon cut off as the voice started again.

"Burr I know that you're in there just-"

Alexander took a breathe and calmed himself down.

"Please open the door."

Aaron stayed quiet for a moment before getting up and walking towards the door. He stood at it for a minute trying to figure out if he should open it or not. Aaron took a breathe and hoped he didnt look to bad before reaching out toward the handle.

The second he saw the handle moving Alexander pushed the door open, ran in, slammed the door shut, and threw hus arms around Aaron.

Aaron froze not knowing what to do. He found himself losing balance and Alexander slid them down to the floor. Aaron didnt know what to do so he didnt do anything. Aaron would never admit it but he loved being in Alexanders arms. Even though he wanted desperately to get closer to Alexander he stayed still.

Alexander noticed how Aaron didnt move and decided he should probably explain. So he tried but not before hugging Aaron a bit tighter then letting go.

"Aaron-"

Thats new

"-im honestly really sorry about earlier I wasnt really thinking at the time and I really shouldnt have said that shit especially about your past that was really fucked up of me especially since I barely know it and im really sorry about-"

Aaron looked Alexander in the eyes for the first time since the fight. Alexander saw so much he never saw in Aaron. He saw so many emotions at once he stopped in the middle of talking.

Aaron gave a soft, sad smile to the man before speaking barely above a whisper.

"Its okay A-"

"No! No its not okay! I made you cry Aaron thats not okay! I was a complete dick to you! You should jus-"

"Alexander..."

"-t forgive me like that! I said some really bad shit about you for no reason! Like it was an asshole thi-"

"Alexander!"

"-ng to do! Like you should hate me and im prerty sure you do but you should hate me more now! Like did you ev-"

Aaron reached out and grabbed Alexanders wrist trying to silently tell him to shut up. Surprisingly it worked and Alexander was back to looking into Aarons eyes.

Aaron looked away after a moment. It was only then he realized he was still holding Alexanders wrist. Aaron let go and mumbled a sorry before looking at Alexander again.

Alexander had so much he wanted to say but he felt his throat go dry. Alexander couldnt look away from Aarons gaze and he sure as hell didnt want to. Looking into Aarons eyes all Alexander wanted to do was make sure Aaron was alright. He wanted to hold Aaron until all of their anxiety, pain, saddness, and anger go away and only be left with eachother.

Neither of the two realized they were slowly getting closer until Aaron could feel Alexanders breath on his face.

Aaron didnt know what to do. He knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to be as close to Alexander as physically possible. But Aaron didnt know what he should do. Aaron was terrified of the outcome. He fears the unkown.

Lucky for Aaron he didnt have to decide on what to do next. Alexander leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to Aarons lips. He wanted to make sure Aarom was okay with it before he did anything more.

When Aaron didnt do anything Alexander got scared thinking that he was to forward. Aarons mind was going 1000 mph and he didnt know what to do. Eventually despite his mind he put his arms around Alexanders neck and kissed back.

Alexander was about to pull back until he felt Aaron softly kiss back. He immediately put his hands on Aaron waist and tried to deepen the kiss.

The two stayed pressed up against eachother until they broke away to breathe. It wasnt long before they resumed their kiss though.

Aaron doesnt know how long they stayed like that. He doesnt know when they finally pulled away and just stared into eachothers eyes. But he does know that when he hears Alexander softly say something along the lines of 'we should get out of here' and grabs his hand Aaron feels happy.

Aaron hasnt felt this way in a long time. He tried to remember how long ago it was when he still had someone who loved him but Alexander lifted them to their feet and suddenly it didnt matter. All that mattered was him and Alexander.

Alexander kissed Aaron on the forehead before the two left the building hand in hand.
