Walking head held high into school on the next Monday morning was the one and only Richie Toizer.

He knew that Ms James would have figured he did it, and he was ready for any consequences.

Eddie on the other hand was scared out of his mind.

"You could get expelled 'Chee!?" The small boy ran to keep up with his tall friend.

"Aw, little Eddie Bear's worried about me! I'm flattered to say the least." He touched his hand to his heart and gave Eddie a wink.

Eddie frowned, hoping to God that Richie didn't notice how pink his cheeks went.

"Aw! You're blushing!" Richie snaked his arm around the flustered boy and whispered, "Don't worry about me, okay honey? I'll be fine, just get your ass to art class and I'll see you there."

With that, Richie picked up speed and left Eddie flustered and red to the face.

Eddie stared at the clock impatiently. He didn't know what was happening, and that scared him.

Oh god I hope he doesn't get expelled; he can't get expelled! Oh god, oh god, oh god, oh g-

"Hey Eddie Spaghetti!" Richie beamed as he sat down next to the distressed boy.

"Oh my gosh! You're okay!" Eddie practically jumped onto Richie, enveloping him in the biggest hug Richie had ever received.

"Fags." Someone coughed in the back row.

Eddie instantly jumped apart, clearly effected by the words, and looked anywhere but Richie's eyes.

"So, um, how did you get away with it?" Eddie was obviously curious, but still didn't look Richie in the eyes.

"Well, my sweet Eds, a magician never revels his secrets!" He pinched the smaller boy's cheek.

What Richie did in Ms James's office is something that he will die with. He is never going to tell any of his friends that he had begged and sobbed and puked so he wouldn't get expelled.

Yes, he would never tell anyone.

Eddie giggled, "Don't call me that! You know I hate it!"

Richie smiled. He loved when Eddie laughed.

Ha, Eds looks really cute when he laughs... wait what?!

Richie was surprised by his sudden thought, it was, well, not at all like him.

I, Richie Toizer, likes girls! He thought hardly.

Richie smiled content with his answer, at least for the time being.

"Whatcha drawing spaghetti man?" Richie peaked over at the small notebook lying on the table.

He was surprised to find that it was actually good.

"Wow Eds! You could be an artist!"

Eddie blushed at these words of praise and hastily put away the sketch of the landscape.

"It's not that great," he muttered, looking down at the table.

"Can I have it?"

Eddie looked up in shock, blinking a few times.

"Sorry what?"

"Can I have the drawing?"

Eddie hastily drew the drawing from his bag and handed it to him.

A huge goofy grin spread across Richie's face. He was over the moon. He was going to cherish this picture forever!

DING DING DING

All the students packed up their stuff ready for the lunch break.

Richie was first out the door holding Eddie's picture high in his hand.

"THIS MAGNIFICANT PICTURE WAS DRAWN BY MY BEST FRIEND EDDIE KASPBRAK! PICASSO QUAKES AT THE SIGHT OF THIS NEW ARTIST!" Richie yelled down the hallway, students looked at him as if he were a crazy person.

Richie was unfazed and quite frankly, enjoyed the attention.

Eddie stared horrified at his best friend running down the hallways like a lunatic. He bowed his head in shame and quickly walked to the cafeteria, trying desperately to get away from the crazy scene.

"Oh god, it was awful, you should have seen him! He was runn-" Eddie was explaining to the rest of the losers what appalling thing happened in the hallway, when Richie came running in screaming at the top of his lungs, "EDDIE KASPBRAK IS AMAZING! I GOT HIS ARTWORK! NONE OF YOU PEASENTS CAN STEAL IT!"

Richie caught sight of alarmed best friend, and a sly grin spread across his face.

"THERE HE IS FOLKS! MY AMAZING BEST FRIEND!" Richie pointed to the losers table and everyone slowly turned to look in Eddie's direction.

Eddie looked down, grimacing as the thousands of eyes stared into his back.

Why the fuck would Richie do that? He knows how much I hate attention?!

Eddie was still staring at the stained covered table, when Richie came and sat down.

"Hey guys!" Richie smiled at them... no one smiled back.

"Why the hell would you do that Richie?" uttered Stan, giving Richie a death glare.

Richie stared at them all confused, "What do you mean... I wanted everyone to know who drew this incredible picture! Like look at it!" Richie ushered the picture around, feeling proud.

"Richie. Stop. You just embarrassed me in front of the entire school." Richie looked down at his best friend, feeling ashamed that he had made him that uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry Eds... I just wanted everyone to know how talented you were... I should've thought about it. I'm sorry."

Eddie looked up and was surprised to see the look of sincereness in his eyes. He smiled and Eddie knew that he'd forgiven Richie.

"It's okay 'Chee... but you know what isn't okay?"

Richie frowned, worried that he had hurt his friend's feelings again.

"YOU CALLING ME EDS!" Eddie gave Richie a light nudge and, being the drama queen, he was, Richie toppled to the ground. Eddie laughed.

Getting up to a kneeling position Richie cried in a royal accent, "Why all of the Losers come to my house thy evening tonight!"

"I'm in!" Stan shrugged, followed by the rest of them.

"You my dear spaghetti man?" Richie asked Eddie, still in the ridiculous accent.

Please say yes, please say yes!

"Of course!" Eddie exclaimed.
