Wanted: Perfect Nanny for the Heir's Babies

There was an unutterable disbelief in Aeon's eyes as he scanned the new nanny of the twin from head to foot as she reluctantly entered the door to his library.

Judging from the way she walked her way towards his table, he could say that
his new employee was kinda nervous and somewhat hesitant.

"Have a seat, Miss . . ." Aeon had to glance at the resume resting on the table before saying, "Miss Tadz Severino."

Although it seemed like she's a bit hesitant, she did what she was told to do.

"So Miss Severino, tell me more about yourself."

It's not like he's that interested to know everything about the nerd nanny but he just had to do that to check her background and for him to be able to know if the personal informations about her that were written on the resume were all accurate.

Hindi naman sa wala siyang tiwala sa pinsan niya na siyang nagrekomenda rito. It's just that he needed to be extra cautious sa pagpili ng taong pwede niyang pagkatiwalaan sa pag-aalaga sa mga bata.

Napansin niyang huminga muna ang babae nang malalim bago magsalita.

"M-my name's Tadz S-Severino, S-Sir," she said, her voice shaking. "T-twenty-five na po ako at nagmula pa ho ako sa Bicol."

The new nanny avoided her gaze away from him when he tried to meet her eyes behind those thick-framed eyeglasses.

"You don't look twenty-five to me," Aeon said bluntly.

Mukha kasi itong mas matanda sa edad na nakasulat sa resume nito dahil may suot itong makapal na salamin. Ni wala itong kolorete sa mukha. Idagdag pa ang kasuotan nitong minana pa yata nito sa lola sa tuhod nito. Out of style na kasi ang maluwang at bulaklaking long sleeves na suot nito pati na rin ang palda ng babae na umaabot sa sakong nito.

"No offense meant but the way you dress just . . . " agad na paliwanag niya nang mapansin ang pag-iba ng ekspresyon sa mukha ng babae.

Aware naman siyang isa itong probinsiyana pero hindi lang talaga niya in-expect na hindi ito ganoon ka-updated sa makabagong istilo ng pananamit at ayos ng mga modernong kababaihan.

Aeon had met lots of girls coming from different provinces pero most of them ay hindi naman ganito makalumang manamit. Bukod-tangi lang talaga ang bagong yaya ng mga anak niya sa mga promdi girls na nakilala niya.

Para kasi itong isang sinaunang taong naligaw lang sa makabagong mundo.

"Okay lang po 'yon, Sir,"malumanay na tugon nito.

"Well, Miss Tadz Severino, do you have experience with babies?"

"Ah . . . eh . . . 'yong totoo po . . . wala po," she replied, reluctance in her voice.

"How could you take care of the twin if you don't have any experience with babies?" he asked, doubt was evident in his voice.

Bakit ba kasi nirekomenda ito ni Zephyrine sa kanya gayong wala naman pala itong karanasan sa pag-aalaga ng mga bata?

" I-I admit that I don't have any experience when it comes to taking care of babies but, Sir . . I . . I like people in general and babies in particular. And willing po akong matuto kung paano mag-alaga ng mga bata."

Hindi niya maiwasang mapamaang sa tinuran nito.
"So, you mean to say na pag-aaralan mo pa lang kung paano mag-alaga ng mga bata?"

"Ganoon na nga po, Sir. Pero, Sir, madali naman po akong matuto."

"What I needed is an experienced nanny, Miss Tadz Severino. But since my cousin Maria Zephyrine was the one who recommended you to me, sige bibigyan kita ng isang linggo para patunayang karapat-dapat kang maging yaya ng kambal."
